This place is a lot different without Chi around(previous owner). The price has gone up also, new owner new rules. As a regular customer the same load for drop off changes sometimes it’s $ 10 sometimes $ 20. Always thought it was priced by weight. Went to one of the competitors today and it was $ 9.50 for my drop off and the lady told me the time it would be ready by.

At a buck a pound their drop off service isn’t the cheapest I have seen but for regular work duds it got them well cleaned neatly folded and properly bagged. And all of it came back which is a bonus. I knocked off a star because the place was complete chaos when I went in, laundry machine bits and stressing out mechanics EVERYWHERE(apparently four machines broke at once) but other than that, I’d definitely go again

Chi(The extra helpful owner) has recently purchased Main Highlander Laundry and is bringing it back up to the neighbourhood standard. This laundromat boasts large clean washers and dryers, drop off laundry(Chi does it herself and has an eye and ear for detail), alterations and key cutting. The prices are affordable at $ 2.50 for a large washer and around $ 1.25 to dry. If you have any questions, just ask Chi for help, she knows stain removal and every machine in the place ;)

3 years into living in the ‘Sunset’ area for almost 3 years without in-suite laundry so I have been to this place many times. The previous owners were good. Now, this new lady is very relaxed with opening and closing times(mostly opens late, and few times closed early while my things were still in the dryer). Plus, it would appear that regular maintenance to the machines must be less frequent now, since they’re always glitching and eating my money now. Hhhmm. how convenient for the owner.

DONOT use this laundromat, except for the self-serve machines. For the first time in my life, I dropped off laundry here yesterday. I am selling a some clothes that don’t fit any more, and I wanted them to look sharp so I decided to forgo my personal laundry skills and hire the professionals. I asked for the clothes to be pressed and on hangers, and was quoted $ 16, which I paid. Imagine my disappointment when I showed up today to collect the clothes on the way to the consignment store, and they were disheveled, wrinkled, and thrown onto the hangers! I had to reschedule the consignment appointment. I mentioned to the lady at the counter that it was my first time dropping off laundry ever, and asked her why the clothing was not pressed. She said I had not asked for pressing, and I said that actually, I had asked for pressing. She gave me the price including pressing, which was three times the price I had been quoted when I dropped off the clothing. That may or may not be a fair price(I wouldn’t know, being utterly new to this drop-off service thing). However, when I pointed out yet again that I had specifically requested pressing, the lady said in a nasty tone that she was told I had said«no pressing» and that I «should have known» that $ 16 was too cheap to include pressing, and only included washing and hangers. I repeated that I had never done this before, and she kept repeating that I «should have known»(listening much? not really. it got boring fast). I finally said I would just take the clothes, and she started to take them off the hangers(which I had paid for!). I had to insist that she give me the hangers that she agreed I had paid for. She was very unfriendly(even though I made a point of saying I knew it wasn’t her fault personally), and apparently she deeply resented me interrupting her personal phone call to deal with my laundry questions; she called her friend back before I had even gotten all my clothes back, Just a heads-up for anyone else who might be tempted to try drop-off service here. Save yourself a headache and wash it yourself, or take it to a real cleaners place!

Having just moved to the area imagine how pleased I am that there’s a local laundry hole just a hop, skip and a jump away from the new temporary digs. Yay. The regular wash is $ 1.50, double loader $ 2.50 and triple loader $ 3.50. They have dropoff service and their sign says last load at 6:30pm.
