I took my computer in to have Windows reinstalled… they wiped everything else off and now want to charge me to reinstall Microsoft Office… If perhaps they were to have called me and could communicate better I might have NOT taken it there… this is not the 1st time I have had issues, thought I’d give them another chance. Shame on me now I’m unable to do what I NEEDED my computer for. Thanks For Nothing

I paid Microtech $ 260.00 to repair my laptop by replacing its motherboard. They provided me with a 30 day warranty on parts and service. I returned within the 30 day warranty on multiple occasions to address my concerns which included all of the following: — unexpected shutdown — system freeze — static and unclear speaker sounds — original A/C adapter was not returned(was given a smaller A/C adapter which overheats quickly) — quick launch touch pad unresponsive — mute volume turns on and off on its own — wifi connection turns on and off on its own — lock key for touch key pad is broken — battery reading is unreliable(ie: undetected, wrong power life readings, making wireless usage inconvenient or impossible) — multimedia remote control unresponsive Microtech has been unable to repair or resolve the above issues, nor honour their written 30 day warranty on this matter. I have a written diagnostic from a BBB-accredited business to confirm that I am having motherboard issues. My laptop no longer works. I donated it somewhere else for parts. I never received any money back from Microtech. I filed a complaint through the BBB and Microtech chose to make no response. I would never take my business here again.
