Min Hee Style Salon

I have followed Min Hee for over 10 years. She’s changed three different salons before finally opening her own. I have followed her to each and every salon location.
Every time I go for a cut, she gets the style I want spot on. My entire family goes to her for a cut, colour, style … You name it, MinHee can do it!

I came across Min Hee’s cute little salon by accident when I got lost looking for my Barre Fitness class. I’m always looking for the ultimate blow out so I popped in and asked her how much she charged for blow outs — $ 40, which is pretty standard of most blow out bars. However the time and care that she takes to give you a great blow out is far and away much more than what you will ever get at one of those generic blow out bars. She uses quality, yummy smelling, eco-​friendly products, and uses tools to give you the perfect blow out that only someone with over 20 years of experience would know how to use.
Aside from the great blow out, we got along like two long lost friends — she is so funny wise and smart, I had a great time. She even gave me great relationship advice!
I’ve officially found my go-​to for blow outs! I would go back just to hang out with her! :)

Hair by Gienny! Too many good things to say! Although I’ve been going blonde for the past 7 or so years, I haven’t had an experience quite like this! She begins by going though details of your hair’s past and ensures that before she begins, she has a good idea of what it is you want and tells you how it can be achieved. She actually CARES for your hair unlike any other stylist I’ve been to! One of the things that really stood out to me was the fact that her products have almost no smell or burning feeling. No harsh smelling chemicals being applied to your head — AMAZING! I was so used to spending 5+ hours at the salon with an itchy burning scalp with results that were close to what I wanted but not quite, compared to not knowing exactly what I wanted but deciding to leave my fate in Gienny’s hands (with jaw dropping results shall I say!) and best of all, I was in and out of there in 2.5 hours! That, alongside her sweet, bubbly personality, makes time go by in a snap :) She is an amazing hair stylist and I am definitely sure she will knock you off your feet just as much! This girl deserves more spotlight! xx

I really needed a haircut, so I walked in and got to see Jenny (or was it Jessica) at the salon. Not only is she personable, she did a fantastic job on my hair and I was receiving compliments from everyone the following days after the cut. She knew what I wanted before I even knew what I wanted. She hit the nail on my head (haha). Best of all, the cut was not at all expensive ($ 55). Well done! I’ll be back for sure. I think I found my new salon.

My friends have been regulars of Min for many years. I first met Min when she did my friends wedding two years ago. When I was looking for a new stylist, my friends reminded/​suggested Min. It was a good choice.
Min did a great job on my cut. Usually I come out of salons thinking, «it’s just hair, it’ll grow back» BUT this time I absolutely loved it. Min suggested something really good for my style if I wanted to curl it. Tried it the next morning — it was simple, easy, fast and the curls stayed all day through work, exercise and a movie!
I will personally come back in the future.
