I usually get my haircut downtown but decided to look for a place close to Kitsilano. Saw the positive reviews on Unilocal and decided to check it out.
Great fade and trim on top from the owner PJ, very reasonably priced and close to home.
Will be back again!

If you don’t know PJ, get on it. Modern Man is a great joint. They claim to be a barber shop but they are so much more.
PJ, the owner, has been styling hair his entire life — all over the world.
When you go in, ask him for a few stories (Turkey, Japan, London, Dubai). You’ll be at the edge of your seat.

Very nice place in a cozy side of the street. Pj is very nice and he does a great a job achieving the colour you are looking for. He is very gentle with you hair and make sure that you hair is not damaged in the process, unlike Many other salons I’ve been too. i do recommend him to everyone.
