Mountainciew Liquor Store is my go-to place for Red Horse beer! Other than that, this is the only liquor store that I know of that carries both Red Horse and San Miguel beers. Excellent stock of everything at competitive pricing in comparison to other local liquor stores. The entrance is a little crowded along with makeshift aisles but these are simply cons of being a small-sized liquor store. There’s plenty of parking on the street in addition to parking in the back.
An older gentleman (i’m guessing the owner of the store) is really, really nice and helpful when letting you know when your favorite beer will be arriving. They’re extremely fast with payments and bagging because they know that you want to be in fast to get your beer and out faster so you can drink your beer =p

Okay neighborhood store with basic selection. Since MVL first opened the beer selection has become less interesting and wine and spirit selections have lost any edge they once had, gravitating to generic, mass market selections. But the staff are always friendly and they have responded to quickly to stocking brands I’ve requested.

If you are a beer geek this is not the place to shop. Front of store is so crowed with beer stacked up and this horrible turn style. What really bothered me was things were not priced… and when I asked the cashier (who was doing nothing) he said I don’t know $ 14 or $ 15.
Also when they say free parking in the back this is true but you can’t enter through the back and you have to walk up the back ally to Fraser and up the street… just park on the street.
