Don’t be fooled by the lock on the door and the requirement to be buzzed in; this place is open and welcoming, and if you need some audio and/or visual equipment or supplies, you’ll be glad you came here to check things out. A family owned business, this isn’t your usual big-box electronics store. These people are incredibly knowledgeable. I tried to be a good photographer and be prepared when I went in. I had a list of the equipment I owned and an inkling of an idea of what I wanted, but I wanted to be open minded and possibly learn something. The salesman was spot on. He identified the same gap in the range and function of the camera lenses that I owned and made a suggestion based on what I told him my current shooting interests were. I totally agreed with his suggestion as it was something I was considering as well. When the lens I was considering was a bit out my price range, he made a suggestion of another manufacturer that I might want to consider. Having now researched it I can see that the suggestion was a great one and I was very excited to order it from them from their Calgary location. I was also excited to hear that they sell used camera bodies as well as new. My honey and I have been looking for a way to find ourselves with multiple Canon bodies, with the intent of sharing our inventory of lenses, with new purchases increasing the depth and variety of said inventory, without completely bankrupting both of us. Now this can happen. As new equipment comes with a straight from the manufacturer warranty, they have no return policy per se. They guarantee that the products they sell you will work and will be compatible with your equipment and if the product is defective at time of purchase they will honour your purchase with an exchange. Used items come with a 30-day, store warranty. These guys are direct, and upfront, and in an age when everyone is moving to camera phone technology, it is wonderful to find a place with personal and friendly service that is reliable and unchanging. I think we will be friends for a long time, or at least until I run out of funds to fuel my camera passion.
