Being so close to our place we go here pretty often. Everything is always fresh and the prices are great. I don’t eat fish, but my boyfriend and step daughter love the tuna, especially the tataki. For my part the avocado is always dreamt perfect, never hard or on the brown side. Delish!

I’ve been going here for years. Good prices. Tasty sushi. Friendly staff. Quick. But I became suspicious about cleanliness after getting an upset stomach a few times. Last time I went in I notice one of the cooks didn’t wash his hands after he went to the washroom. The sink was bone dry after he came out of the bathroom and I went in. Yuk! Not going back.
Their most recent health inspection was good, but earlier in 2015 they had serious deficiencies, including — no surprise — not adequate hand washing! BLECH

Their specials are cheap, yummy, fresh and generous portions. I typically order negitoro roll, yam roll, cali roll with miso soup. It’s under $ 10!

Great food for the price! we got the 9.95 happy menu, where you get to pick 3 items from a list. It was so much food even at that price we couldn’t finish!

Naruto Sushi is absolutely to die for. In my opinion, it is second only to Tojo’s, but at $ 15 – 20 a person for dinner compared to Tojo’s $ 100 – 300 per person for dinner, Naruto is an easy choice!
The food is always fresh and delicious. Their special rolls are really something else! I always order the Crazy Tuna Roll (like a spicy tuna roll but with cream cheese and jalapeños… Delicious!) and their veggie special roll. They also have a punch card, so once you buy 5 special rolls you get a free edamame and once you buy 10 special rolls you get 1 free!
The only negative comment I can make is that it is a very small place and when it gets busy, take-​out orders get very delayed. I’ve been quoted 25 mins, arrived at that time and still had to wait 15 mins for my food a few times. Not ideal but given how amazing the food is, I still feel that it’s worth it and I stand behind my 5-​star review.

Good prices. Just ok sushi. Bad service.
They ran out of miso soup but didn’t tell me until they served my food. They did not give me an eta for the soup but just said that I would have to wait. They never refilled my tea. I left without. At the cash they did not even say thanks. The place was not busy.
In an area full of other sushi choices you don’t need to settle for this. I won’t be back.

The hidden gem of the drive if you want quick, yummy sushi for an amazing price. One of my fav places for sushi on the drive, especially for group take out. You can get 3 rolls for $ 7!

Stayed nearby for a few nights and ended up coming here several times. The sushi was really fresh, great miso soup. The mayonnaise they use on a lot of their rolls wasn’t my favorite, but really, I was enjoying everything I ate so much I barely noticed. I would be tempted to eat here a few times a week if I lived here.

Came here for a second time in the afternoon. Last time I got their special (3 rolls with salad and soup for $ 6.99) which was delicious and filling. This time I ordered Rainbow Rolls ($ 7.99) and it was yummy. Fast service, great food and it was all good. I’d love to try their daily special next time.

I ordered take out. They have a pick any 3 rolls, and a miso soup, deal, for $ 7. I ordered two. I arrived 25 minutes after later and they were just finishing up. Sushi was fresh, yam rolls were still warm from deep fryer. It was very clean and quiet. There were maybe 8 – 10 tables in the place l. Typical setup with sushi bar.
Who can argue with 3 rolls for $ 7? Sushi was better than most in the area (within 2 – 3 blocks). I will be back!

We recently moved to East Vancouver and tonight felt like a Sushi night.
This place was close, had a 4 out of 5 rating, menu looked ok, prices looked ok.
Ordered:
— 1 x Gyoza
— 1 x Gomae
— 2 x Yam Tempura rolls
— 1 x Philadelphia roll
— 1 x Salmon Avocado roll
We placed our order at about 6pm.
At 7:00pm we called and were told «the driver is already out». Kay.
At 7:45pm we were sitting down feeding our two year old a quick last minute dinner.
At 7:52pm food arrived, almost two hours after ordering.
After putting the little one down for the night, we sat down, thanked God and started to eat.
The Gyozas were just nasty. Nasty. In the bin
The Gomae was warm. Warm Gomae.
The Yam rolls were by far the worst we’ve had. Honestly. In the bin.
The other two rolls were not bad, and that was a surprise considering the other items.
We wish the owners and staff all the best and hope our experience was a one off — but never will we ever.

We normally go to Shiro or Toshi’s, but really wanted delivery so tried this place. Big mistake, never again.
They said it would be delivered btwn 45 min to an hour. It arrived one hour and fourty five minutes later. I called to complain, and a woman giggled and said it was on it’s way, great. The food was not good either, and the order had major errors. One friend has an allergy and I repeatedly asked when I ordered to make sure none of that ingredient was on any of the sushi, and they said absolutely no problem. Then when the food arrived it was in each and every food container. What a gong show.

Been going here since they first opened almost two years, and the food has been consistent and great. Everything is very clean and fresh and it’s better than your typical sushi restaurant. My favourite rolls are the spicy tuna and negitoro.
The only complaint I have is that they have this middle aged server who is just rude and she makes you feel very unwelcomed, compared to their other server a young male. She does what needs to be done as a waitress but does it in a negative manner
Edit: I havent seen that rude server in a while so Im bumping up the rating to 4 stars.

We ordered sushi from this place tonight. We ordered a few rolls. The lady said the food would get here in 45 minutes which was right the delivery guy got here in around 50 minutes. The food was pretty cheap, and the dynamite roll was good. It was not the best sushi I have ever had but it was good for its price.

Came here for a sushi snack after reading about the place.
Parking is available in the evenings along Commercial, as well as Grandview. During the day, I have no idea where you’d park. Maybe up on the sidewalk.
The inside is quite cozy, and nice and quiet. Staff are actually Chinese, not Japanese.
With that said, the food is reasonably priced. $ 6.75 for 3 items (rolls, maki, or cones) and a miso soup. You won’t get yourself completely stuffed, but it’s a half-​decent deal. More important, the quality is good here. My friend and I were happy.
Great for when you’re in the area and want your fix.
