Pizza Garden

Before I say it’s delicious pizza I’ve warned you that they raised their prices to $ 7 for two slices and a pop after 7 p.m. which many of us think it’s a cash grab or price gouging.

Tried them for the first time tonight. The pizza was flavourful, though for a «four cheeses» pizza, there wasn’t much cheese sprinkled on. The crust was thin, had an excellent texture, and was tasty. Ordering pizza delivery through their website was a breeze. It was easy to order a combo pizza, add extras, and give delivery instructions. No need to enter payment info, we paid upon delivery. An email receipt came right away. The pizza arrived 45 minutes later, nice and hot.

I had heard good things about this place from friends who raved about eating every Friday night. So I thought, okay I’ll never know if I dormant try it, right?
I shared the flavour that is meatless with gooey cheese. What I love is that the crust is thin and they re heat (if it doesn’t come out fresh) your slice of pizza in a wood oven (or was it an industrial oven with a lot of open space).
Anyway, give it a try and make sure it’s hot and fresh when you try it.

if you’re on a hurry, and don’t like spending money. go for it.

Most delicious pizza around! Accidentally came across this place when I first arrived in Vancouver after looking for a place we had previously been to and haven’t been to another pizza place since! Would recommend the potato topped pizza.

The lunch deal is as greasy as the pizza but it’s sofaking good.

Toppings are thin, crust also thin. Taste o. k but not much cheese… that’s extra.
I love the fake wood stove !! Nat gas. Workers here think they own the place.

Best pizza by the slice in town. The quality thin crust and the varieties of cheese make this pizza so awesome. I recommend the 4 cheese pizza, mushroom and onion topped with arugula, the spicy jalapeño tomato, or the pesto and garlic. Great pizza for lunch, dinner or as an after party snack. Yum.

So far this is the best bang for your buck by the slice pizza I’ve found. No, it’s not Fresh Slice cheap, but at 2.75 a slice, it’s really good thin crust Neapolitan style pizza. Good selection of pizza types– when we were there they had cheese, pesto, loaded veggie, meat & mushroom, and pepperoni. The slices heated up well and kept a good chewy/​crispy texture, and the toppings were generous and tasty.
Straight Outta Brooklyn might have a slight edge in sauce and cheese quality, but it’s pricier, and there are fewer topping choices. If I was a cheese only purist I might pick SoB, but I like loaded pizza too, and Pizza Garden is super tasty and satisfying.
This will definitely be my go-​to pizza place when I’m downtown.

This is the best pizza I have ever tried in Canada. The dough is thin and crispy. The cheese and the best part is their white sauce. Cheap and quick.

I was told to try Pizza Garden when I visited because my friends know I’m always on the quest to find the perfect pizza, especially when I travel and I want a meal that’s quick but keeps me full for hours so I can sightsee. I definitely liked the sound of wood stone fired Neapolitan style pizza. Especially since the best pizza I ever had was in Naples, Italy!
So the first thing I discovered was despite loving to travel, I couldn’t understand the Italian in their menu. Does anyone else have this problem, or is it just me? I ended up just ordering Prosciutto Funghi and turned to Google on my phone to look up the rest of my ingredients while I waited for my pizza to be made. Fortunately all ingredients were fine by me. So, the pizza is not Naples quality. That however, is a lot to live up to. I will say that it was extremely good and one of the best pizzas I have had in a long time, certainly in Canada. This is going to make me sound like such a pig but I ordered another a couple days later to my hotel room. This time I went vegetarian and tried Quattro Formaggi because their cheese is all specialty and really good!

IT’S AMAAAAAAZING! We were just walking around downtown when we turn into a corner to find this pizza place. It’s in the corner, so I guess not everyone knows about it except for the people in the neighbourhood.
The pizza was great! Love the thin crust and how chewy it was. I felt like I was eating naan. I had the supreme slice. Ugh! Everyone has to try this out!
The staff are friendly and smiley when I went there so. Yeah! Try it out and have fun!

This is by far the best pizza I’ve had in Vancouver. I must say that the place is nothing special you would not expect to find a such good pizza there, and I found the staff to be very knowledgeable about the Neapolitan style pizza. This will be my go place for delivery from now on.

Excellent quality toppings, and a delicious thin crust. Hard to find a crust as good as they have here, and it really makes the pizza top notch.

Been searching for some time and of course, we do like Nat’s for downtown, but it’s quite expensive and doesn’t always arrive hot or even warm. The menu for Pizza Garden was left in the lobby of our apartment downtown and because of the interesting toppings (very traditional Italian sounding) we gave it a shot.
PIZZA GARDEN is the best pizza in town! Always cordial on the phone, keep your address like a larger chain does, friendly delivery people and HOT, always… PIZZA MAGIC is just that… and the crust? OMG exactly how pizza crust SHOULD be, thin… yet chewy… even if a bit gets burnt in the brick oven? it’s GREAT…
I have to say, try the patate gorgonzola pizza, I was leery but it’s ridiculous. I don’t know what the dipping sauce they send along is… but it’s not «ranchy» at all, thank goodness, it’s garlic and light AND it is NOT extra, they just send it and it’s delicious! and WE don’t even like pizza dips so… anyway…cannot say enough good things.
Our 11 yr old would ONLY eat Nat’s pepperoni and now LOVES Pizza Garden. The sauce is fresh and not overpowering… as it should be. The wrong sauce can RUIN good za, am I right?
Just recently STOPPED in… not the same experience, couldn’t even tell by the pizza that came to our home, that it ACTUALLY came from such a «Slice» joint — It really did need a sweep and a wipe-​down in the seating area… but really, watchya gonna do? IT’S GREAT PIZZA. We’ve ordered now… OH 12 times? So, yah — brick oven awesomeness.

The pizza is amazing. First time ordered for delivery. Frankly, It’s a rare gift to be able to enjoy a good pizza in Downtown Vancouver. I spoke to Maria to ordered with a long shopping list specification (Half pizza is easy on cheese, half pizza is regular, the crust is not too thin/​not too thick, extra hot banana peppers and chili flake on the side). Maria was pleasantly patient took my order. In 20 minutes the pizza came with exactly what I asked for. I was impressed:). Truly excellent medium thin crust with the right amount of topping:) and most importantly is NOT SOGGY at all despite having mushroom on the pizza.
Love the pizza. Smell oven is still very much here and I intend to cherish it for as long as I can or until my next cheating day.
Oh, their white sauce dipping is phenomenal and typically I’m a crust eater and wallaaaa, perfect match.
100% will order again:)

Took over an hour and a half. Driver called 4 times couldn’t find a place just 3 blocks off Robson lol. And my pizza came cold and half of it looked like an elephant stepped on it. Not cool.
