I hired these guys last week to move a couch set from my old place to my new place. They were easy to deal with and the contact «Mike» I was dealing with was initially very personable. Come to the move, they were 50 minutes late, not a huge deal, but an annoyance nonetheless. In the process of moving my expensive Urban Barn leather couch set from the truck into my home, they dropped it on the sidewalk, this of course resulted in a two separate complete tears in the leather. I then brought this to Mike’s attention, and all he had to say was «we normally shrink wrap the items we move, but we don’t shrink wrap leather because the plastic sticks to the leather.» Followed by an «I’ll talk to my guys.» He did nothing to rectify his mistake, discount the move, nor could he even muster an apology. I’ve just had a repair guy over now who’s quoted $ 650 to repair the damage caused by Priority 1 moving.
