These rip offs always charge you the same price which is $ 470 for dryer and regardless on how much the price is or broken part, they never actually fix your appliance. After charging me $ 470 and replacing the wrong part, they lied and told me there is another part broken which the manufacture didn’t make anymore. After charging me that much left me with broken washer and offered $ 25 refund only! they did the same thing to my friend a week after

I had a technician attend to look at my dishwasher which had stopped draining. He recommended cleaning the drain system and quoted me the price ($ 300). I balked and asked him if it would fix the problem and make the dishwasher work. He assured me it would. I knew that I could buy a new dishwasher for ~$ 600/​$ 700, but I figured $ 300 was still cheaper than buying a new dishwasher.
The problem, of course, is that it didn’t fix the problem. I ran the dishwasher that night and — once again — it didn’t drain.
I called the customer service line five times and wrote an email. I never heard back. Clearly the website claim that they guarantee their repairs for one year is a lie.
Since then I have called other (ethical) technicians, talked to friends and done some internet research. I’ve learned that dishwashers have a life span of 6 – 10 years and an eight year old dishwasher (like mine) should just be replaced. (I know — I’m an idiot — I should have done the research first.) I really believe that an ethical technician would have told me that I would be better off replacing the machine, rather than charging me for a costly and useless repair.

These days when it can be hard to find someone who actually shows up the day they say they will, Quick appliance repair’s service was outstanding on every level AND they showed up the same time we arranged! When I am in BC it is usually for a short period of time so I need repairs done almost immediately.
My technicians was punctual, pleasant and efficient. I was really pleased, and will definitely use them again if the time comes.
