Came here couple times. I have to say this Rexall can be said to locate in a sketchy location. Its not busy. If you need help, there is no service at this Rexall. Only one or two staff working and this includes the cashier. I don’t shop here often because its out of the way and yes the service

I came here yesterday on the way home to check out some Chinese New Year candy and pastries as I will be going to some friend’s place for dinner. I was disappointed in the selection and found better deals at T&T(which I was closer to in the first place and should’ve just gone there). I did, however, pick up some toner shampoo and some coconut oil hair masks.

The manager is a creep and so are many of the staff. Treating every person through the door like a thief BECAUSEREXALL chose to open a store in a sketchy part of town is a super poor way to do business.

A much needed ground level anchor for this lackluster mall Tinseltown. good size, with the candy and snacks in the centre aisles and while there is a refrigerated section, no ice cream. Their skincare section also lacking, nothing like Shopper’s but has the basics. Two entrances here, with the BMOATM on the inside.

Very rude staff. I asked if they had some items in stock and the person almost did not want to go and check, made a face MANY times, and acted as if helping a customer was the LAST thing in the world that she wanted to do. The check out person was angry and somehow tried to take it out on the customers. The security guard stood by the door and just GLARED at customers coming in and out without saying hello. The prices of the items were higher than Shoppers. Avoid.

Came here to pick up some various random items. In this respect, Rexall is quite similar to Shopper’s Drug Mart. Parking is available underground(Tinseltown), as well as on the streets(metered). The pricing here is hit and miss — however, what I can say is that the snacks and drinks here are cheaper than what you’d find at 7 – 11 nearby. If you have the munchies and it’s not too late in the evening, this place is actually your best bet, strangely enough.

The woman who worked in the cosmetics section was nice and helpful and so was another associate but I wouldn’t come here ever again because of the security guard who kept following me. I mean I was trying to look for a specific product so I had to search through most of the aisles to find it. I eventually asked the woman who worked in the cosmetics section if they had the product and the annoying security guard was still peering through the corner. Anyways I will never step foot in this Rexall again. I was so ready to tell him off. I couldn’t find the exact product I was looking for, but even if I did I will probably go to the Royal Centre location or the one on Austin Avenue and hope I will get treated with decency in those locations. I mean in my opinion I don’t think I look like a thief and I absolutely hate it when people assume anything about anyone and make innocent people feel singled out and it’s demeaning.

The Pharmacists here are always so friendly and efficient! Most times I call in advance for refills, but sometimes if I am out already, I’ll drop by for my refills and never once have I have to wait longer than 5 minutes. And it’s always so clean, neat and tidy in there. I love it!

I don’t know what it is about Rexall in general, but I just can’t bring myself to want to make it my regular all-in-one ‘used to be a pharmacy but is now an everything store’ store. Sure, they’ve got all of the necessities(Advil, makeup, bottled water, et al), but there’s just something about each location that I just can’t get down with. The case with this particular Rexall could be the lighting — it’s the worst awful kind possible(the kind that makes everyone look a putrid colour of green-yellow, and that are so bright they make me feel as sketchy as the dude picking up rocks outside the building). But, the location is perfect for movie-addicts like me. When snacks are necessary, this is where you’ll find me, stuffing my bag with gummy worms and Arizona Iced Teas.

I really like this store. I look forward to it whenever I visit Tinseltown. There is always something quirky on clearance, The security guards here, are always friendly and eager to help with getting me a basket, or cart, unlike security at other drug stores *shoppers* Never any line ups, Cosmetics staff is not pushy at all, and will ring your purchases in no problem. On my last visit, my scores included a Conair Volumizing hair styler for 9.95 $. And 9 Matrix Professional Salon hair products –all for only 3.85 $!! (Reg from 14 – 22 $) I am a cosmetics/beauty junkie and this place helps me get my fix!

I love this Rexall. I live a block away so there’s one reason. My mom is battling cancer and I’ve spent many, many days at the pharmacy there and they always remember us and what we need so there’s another reason. They have very nice staff all over the store and I’m allowed to bring my dog in as long as I carry him so there’s the third reason to love this Rexall. Yes, it’s a definite bonus to our neighbourhood.

It’s awesome to have a large drug store in this area. Selection is the same as you’d expect at a Rexall store.

I was excited to discover this Rexall in Tinseltown… a good addition to a neighborhood that is gowing quickly and doesn’t have a lot of amenities… ALSO perfect for a snack stop before going to a movie:) I can’t bring myself to spend $ 7 on a bag a Gummy Bears when I can get them at a Rexall for $ 3… We stopped in today before a flick and were happy with the lack of the usual long line ups at Drug stores… the prices were good and the staff were pleasant… It’s really great to see that there is finally a useful business other then the Theater in Tinseltown. maybe there is hope for the mall yet?

Nice and clean. The things that set it apart from other downtown drug stores: 1) Signs in Chinese and English 2) No wait in line? I’ve been here 4 times and never had to wait. Other than that, it’s pretty normal. It has an entrance outside(near Starbucks) or you can also enter from inside the mall.

The grand-opening of the Rexall Pharma-Save store in April was long awaited by local dwellers. We were in need of a drug store and it was provided! The store is the first new-concept pharmacy offering Chinese-English bilingual signage, catering to the large Chinese community in the area. It has everything any other drugstore would have, pharmacy, foods and cosmetics amongst other things. There is a ubiquitous security presence, something the people of this area are well used to. The only chagrin I have with this place are small-town weekend hours but I’m a night owl and a lover of perusing drug store aisles at all hours.
