This guy is horrible. Did a gum exam on me. Came back home and had HUGE painful swelling the next day on one side by the back molar. Hey, it can happen but it’s his poor follow-through care that lost me. I call him(it was the weekend and all) and he prescribed pencillin. I couldn’t stand the pain and sort of got turned off but his overall lack of urgency when i described the condition and his falback on prescribing penicillin. So I went to the only place open(Pacific Centre Dental) to get the thing lanced. They did a good job and I was pain-free. I go to pick up prescription anyway and the dopey dentist Migicovsky had not phoned it in yet. I had to call him again to kick his butt in gear as I still figured take the penicillin to prevent it coming back after it was lanced. I gave up on this guy and grabbed the phonebook. Started calling around all possible dentists downtown who could do gum work(didn’t have to be a periodontist). Found one and he’s been superb. Gave him all my business. Basically, I looked at it this way. If Migicovsky could not do a simple periodontal exam without causing intense pain(in an area that was not the problem when I came in… it was the exact opposite side) nor being able to take time out of his weekend for an emergency to come in, then what would the results be in the future? I mean, I’m going to trust this guy to do root planing, etc. or have him anywhere near my gums? Add to that the blob of a receptionist he had was one of the rudest and totally unfriendly people I’ve ever dealt with the whole experience turned me off. This was the type of experience that makes you wonder how these guys ever make it so far in the dental profession.
