Nice décor but burger was greasy and then some… dripped all over the place and drenched the bun also… fries were great! …good selection of beers. .Floor manager not aware what’s happening in sports world and you have to ask to put the game on .like playoff hockey game… Hello…and what’s with the big screens with 9 bordered sections to it… so annoying when watching a fast game like hockey… Hello again… this a sports bar… look after what draws people to your place… Hello…SPORTS experience.

Paisley did everything imaginable a server could do to ensure that we had the best night possible. Her high energy, contagious personality won us all over immediately. Drinks were delicious, the Ciroc deal on Sat night was a big winner! I will come back thanks in part to the biggest TVs i have ever seen in a bar. Great environment, great staff. Didn’t have much in the way of food, but the bite of the chicken tender I had was cooked very well. Thanks much!

Let’s admit that the service is not the best, but the Italian Chicken Dip Sandwich is one of the best sandwiches in downtown.

A few of us ladies meet for lunch once a month. This month we chose the Shark Club. It just re-opened recently. Reviews were ok … When we were seated, everything seemed good … great hostess … friendly. DOWNHILL from there. There was suppose to be 8 of us but only 6 showed up … the waitress was baffled that we needed a table for 8. Oh … the place was NOT busy!!! She took our order … we waited for over half an hour for our food. She stood at the till with a supervisor … doing I don’t know what … but totally ignoring everyone at the place. There was a table of 10 sitting behind us and they got up and stood at the till. because I guess their lunch hour was over!!! One of the ladies said our food was sitting under the heat lamp for a good ten minutes. Not once did the waitress come by to ask how our food was. I asked for our bill when she came whipping by so that we did not have to stand and wait 15 minutes to get it. Our lunch, which usually takes an hour in other restaurants in the neighbourhood … took over an hour and half! Too long! The supervisor guy seemed to careless on what was going on as well. He didn’t care that we waited that long for the food. He did not care that we were on our lunch break. Absolutely SLOOOOOWWWW service! Definitely not interested in going back!!!

Shark Club, Shark Club! We went in for a quick meal and ended up getting two Jambalaya rice bowls. PRICE: The price was reasonable. I would rank Shark Club below the Earls and the Cactus’s of Vancouver but that’s just me. SERVINGSIZE: It was more than I had anticipated. Decent amount of chicken/sausage in the mix. TASTE: This is where they lost it. Even though I was starving, the Jambalaya was just too salty to eat. I mean, it wasn’t so bad that it was inedible but it was salty enough that we didn’t enjoy it. I think at the end of the day, the food needs to win the people over for a place like this to be better. SERVICE: Service was great! The waitress serving us was courteous!

I just had the greatest waitress ever. Dianna was exceptionally friendly very attentive and incredibly sweet! Coupled with a perfectly cooked steak sandwich that was made by Vanessa. I had a really good evening. Thank you both very much!

These folks have provided top notch service every time I’ve stopped by. It’s refreshing to go to a place where staff care so much. Sat at a table on a very busy night and waited about 5 minutes before someone approached us asking if we’ve been asked for our drink order yet(she wasn’t even working) and got someone for us right away and comped out first drink. Much respect for this group, I’ll always come back

I have gone here twice. Both times incredibly disappointing. The food is not tasty, and the service is slow and not very welcoming. They overcook their steak, being a vegan I do not eat streak, but even I know the difference between rare and medium rare. We never get water, tables are seated before the previous table has left or paid their bill, and the one of the waitresses even tipped herself, she just walked off with our change. Not ok. Overall this place needs to greatly improve both their costumer service and food prep.

Visiting the area, attempted to find the restaurant prior to a Canucks game but weren’t able to. Luckily, we found it wondering around the city the next day. I imagine it would have been a different dining experience had we been there on game night, but we thought the food was good and the restaurant clean. The bathrooms were a bit confusing at first but I get it now. We were not rushed during our meal and our server was helpful with answering our questions and making recommendations.

Drink and WATCH McDavid bury it top cheddar on your mini sliders. Watch Steph Curry sink that shot as your Local Vancouver beer drains down your throat sink. The service and vibe swell like Swayze in Point Break. TASTE a potato. Then have another. Poutine. Bacon and Blue cheese dirty Chips. Parmesan Tater Tots LISTEN to an eclectic mix of the Beebs and other trendy flowing sounds. You don’t need to Meditate to be happy, surf-skate the vibes of this Vancouver Shark Club and let life Meditate you.

2.5 stars. Came a here a couple of times now. One time to watch Canucks game, another was to watch the Seahawks game. The food is above average, like other pub food. They do have a small brunch menu which was decent, when I was there to watch the Seahawks game. They have a great Mahi salad. Yes I know, why am I getting a salad at a pub. I just finished volleyball and didn’t feel like eating a burger so decided on something a bit lighter. The servers were really great. Friendly, courteous and fun to talk to. They have a lot of servers when it’s busy. Looked like there was a server for every 4 – 5 tables. The place looks great after the renovation. The back upper area is great for small groups as it’s away from the pubs area. They also have a DJ for music, which is good but sometimes the music gets in the way. At times, felt like I was in a club and should be dancing, rather than watching a game. When the Seahawks game was over, there was an early Canucks game on however they didn’t put it on screen. Instead they had the next NFL game on tv. Not even one tv with Canucks game. Also there were still ppl in Seahawks gear in the place and barely anyone else with NFL jerseys for the next NFL game that was on tv. For a Vancouver sports bar, you’d think they would have at least a few tvs with the Canucks game on. The renovation and servers r what made me give this review this many stars.

We came here for the nfl playoffs two weekends in a row… gotta say, this is how a sports bar should be run! There isn’t a bad seat in the entire place, tvs everywhere. The service is top notch and the food is amazing. We will definitely be back!

The dine in experience was average. Service was kind of slow. I ordered the Ciroq sour the pink peppercorn at the end of the drink ruined the drink. I ordered take out of the blackened chicken sandwich, taco salad and tator tots to go. The Hun was soggy by the time I got home. The tator tots were frozen ones for sure. The salad would of been better in house. I would return, just hope for better service next time.

I was fooled by the great reviews they have in Google and ended up coming here after the canucks game. The first time we came here the server we got was absolutely clueless and the only recommendations she had were salads or various beers on tap(Tip: If the customers ask for food recommendations don’t try to upsell liquor, that’s just terrible). We ordered the tater tots for an appetizer and were absolutely mortified when we saw two servers walk by our food in the kitchen passbar and they GRABBEDSOMETATERTOTSANDATETHEM. What kind of kitchen allows their servers to eat food meant for customers??? The only saving grace is the food. The kitchen made me a great burger. We complained to the general manager afterwards but she seemed to be some ex-waitress who cared more about her servers and seemed so indifferent about the servers eating the food. I went a second time against my better judgement to watch a lions game on the big screens and apperantly they only allowed the audio of the Dallas stars game when the owner is eating. I just walked out after that. SERIOUSLYTHISPLACESHOULDHAVESTAYEDCLOSED.

I don’t know why people still come here? The menu has hardly anything on it to choose from, at least the one I had was like that. I ordered the sliders and I would say give these a miss, no taste, very small meat pattie and $ 9.00 beers… really? Fries were OK. Washrooms were filthy and that’s all I’m gonna say…

I came here with a group of 8 to watch UFC Aldo vs. McGregor. They charged a cover of $ 15 for the fight which was the on the higher end of acceptable. I have to say that the place was renovated well. Lots of screens with two giant ones behind the bar. I like the fact that they were each 9TV displays as opposed to a projector. Beer selection was solid and prices compare to that of Earls. Only had a few appetizers: wings(good), lettuce wraps(very good), and dry ribs(good). Some other people had ordered sliders which looked great, but they said the bun was very dry. Service was pretty solid but you could tell that because it’s a new place, they’re working out a few kinks. Overall, it was a solid pace to watch the fight. DJ could’ve played some better tracks though and the spotlights above the urinals were an odd touch…

Today is Grey Cup Sunday. I called on Thursday to ask about reservations and specifically asked if they’d be playing the game with sound, as sometimes the CFL loses out to NFL Sundays. The woman who answered the phone asked someone else and confirmed that yes, they’d be playing the game WITH sound. We made a reservation for six at 2:45. Arrived at 2:45 and got our table. The Seahawks game was playing(with sound). Someone made an announcement that the sound for the Grey Cup game wouldn’t be put on until the Seahawks game was over, so not until after 4pm despite the Grey Cup starting at 3pm. I asked to speak with a manager and was directed to Ricardo who rudely told me that the room is 90% Seahawks fans(which isn’t true, there are a pile of CFL fans here) so that’s what gets the sound. I asked why on Thursday I was told there would have been sound, as we would have made other plans. He shrugged and said he didn’t know, was incredibly dismissive, and seemed irritated that I would even ask why I was lied to by staff. Had Shark Club said that the Seahawks game would take precedence we would have gone somewhere else. This is a disappointing first experience back at a venue that’s been closed for more than a year, and has clearly lost its charm and drive toward excellent customer service. I see no reason to come back. But our server, Sam, was lovely.
