SSC COUNTERTOPS

Had purchased a free standing kitchen island from Ikea. Within a few months, the butcher block top started to split and warp. Like the island itself, and not sure if I did anything — or didn’t do something, but if butcher block requires this much maintenance, it’s not for us. Knew the guys at SSC and asked if this was something they could do. Provided the dimensions and description of the use, and voila! Could not have had a better outcome! It looks great, will be way more functional, everyone at SSC was a pleasure to deal with, service was prompt and the top turnout out exactly as expected — well hoped for — and no disappointments! Interesting how major, multinational suppliers can depend on local vendors and trades to pull their tushes out of the fire a lot more than they realize.
