Located at the corner of Davie & Thurlow, this location is extremely convenient to shift workers that work close-by. Having said that, I think they should be 24⁄7 vs closing at 12am. Shop is small but cozy, clean and tidy with people occasionally meeting up for a chat, or being on their laptops with free WiFi. They do have some seasonal promotions with 30% off mugs or buy seasonal coffee beans and get a 5 $ gift card etc. They also offer sandwhiches, cookies, savory sweets, salads, juices etc. Prices are not the cheapest but its convenient if you are on the go. Staff are efficient and friendly. Paid street parking available.

Limited seating here. There are a few seats by the window. The service is always polite and friendly. My drinks are always made correctly. The store is always clean and tidy The communication between staff is excellent. I think this is the main reason why my drinks are always made correctly. I stress this because I am severely Lactose Intolerant and always order my drinks with Soy(now coconut milk YUM!!) and if a mistake is made and my drink is made using milk, I“ll be extremely ill for a couple of days. two thumbs up for this location!

Starbucks is Starbucks, but this store is amazing — the staff especially. The store can get very busy in its central West End location, also considering the nearby hospital and its’ caffeine-hungry employees. The overwhelmingly friendly and long-term staff know a huge majority of their customers by their drinks and names, and are quick to make new ‘friends’. Yoko is THEBEST! Limited seating, but great people watching on Davie if you can score one! Seat or not, I always get what I came for!

This is a good place to sit for people watching. It’s small so there isn’t a lot of room inside. The staff are friendly. Free WiFi.

Decent size, no line ups on the weekday, got tea and hot water, very friendly service. Their pastry selection was lacking.

I asked for coffee, paid them for coffee, and they gave me coffee, It’s like the stars aligned! The area is great for people watching, and no one punched me in the throat so I guess I already had a better experience than that other reviewer… they are open late, have free Wi Fi and the baristas are nice.

Tried the new caramel flan latte. Not a fan. Balance of flavours is not there and apparently they ran out of the caramel whipped cream. If you’re going to offer a new beverage, make sure you have everything to assemble it. Other than that it’s fine, I mean it’s starbucks; polite(kinda slow though) service, and sugary drinks made with gross espresso. I wish more independent cafés would open this early in the morning so I wouldn’t have to put myself through this torture.

This Starbucks is perfect if you want to cruise for guys on Westend Davie Street. Absolutely perfect. I mean, there was this one time when I asked a guy for mouth-to-mouth, and he actually looked like he would have! Except he didn’t. He punched me in the throat. Luckily for me, that dislodged the Santa Fe Chicken Wrap that was dislodged in my airway. Like I said, perfect for making a connection.

This is where I get my java kick in the morning. I love getting greeted by name and when the Barristers knows exactly what I’m having and then makes it for me. Great service at this location in Yaletown. Lately, the Matcha Latte has become a favorite but I still heart my usual.

One to avoid, just insanely busy, more part due to size than location, despite at a busy intersection of Davie/Thurlow. The one on Robson/Thurlow, that’s mayhem. There’s lots of eye candy if you know what i mean ;) parking here is pretty tough here, better be a good parallel parker.
