Do your research and ask all questions prior to booking. Their website is very misleading. They advertise that first month is free but when you call it’s not a promotion that is available. Then they offer you 50% off your first entire month. Very misleading as it’s not applied for your first 30 days of rental. If you try to rent on 22 of the month, they will charge you full price pro rated from 22 till end of the month ans then the 50% discount is applied to the following full month rental. So if you’re only planning to rent for a month and it doesn’t start on the 1^st of the month, you will not be getting 50% off the full first 30 days.
Also, their website is misleading as it gives you a quote that says TOTAL move in cost. The price they give you is not a full price. There are hidden fees that the website does not include. There is a lock that you must purchase from them.
Overall I am very disappointed with Storage Marts unethical advertising practice. They lure you in with offers and discounts and once they have you booked they add all these other fees.

Did not mention I have to pay $ 15 for the lock after I paid for the service on line. It was not listed under the terms and conditions on the confirmation email they sent me. When I moved all my stuff to their store, they said I needed to pay $ 15 for the lock. I feel that that was a scam.
After I moved out my stuff, they called my home and told me mom they could not process my credit card and asked me to call them back. This was very unprofessional as it is the thing between me and the company. They should not tell anything about this transaction to a third party including my family member. My mom was so worried because she thought I had financial problem. I called back the next day. And the lady said she just noticed I had cancelled the service and that’s the reason why she could not process the payment. She mad a mistake and apologized. I was very mad that they told me mom about this matter and my mom thought they called my sister because my sister also rented a room from them. This caused a huge problem to my family.
