STR/KE MVMNT

It’s a nice shop and they have very good products, but they have no customer service at all. There were two salespersons when I went there, they didn’t even bother to say hi, they were just talking to each other.

i shopped at this place 3 times in total. the shop layout is truly beautiful, inviting, and products are showcased very well. but i have to say their customer service is basically non existent. it was cold, unhelpful, and the salesperson didn’t know much about the runners. and i was just asking very basic questions about the shoes. i asked if the runners were good for playing badminton. he said ‘yup they would be good’ and then i said ‘i know they are meant for running and gym, but badminton involves side to side movements…’ and he said ‘hmm… yeah… then i’m not sure’. one day i walked in at 5:30pm and the salesperson was already closing (like all street signs were put inside, and the guy was pulling the window bar things shut). i felt surprised they were closing so early so i asked if he was closing. it was a quick answer ‘yeah’. i felt bad and asked i could still look around. again the sales said ‘yeah’. it definitely felt like he was doing me a favour. i limited to trying on one colour, between 2 sizes, so i could get out of there. i quickly picked a size (which ended up to be the wrong size and i had to return the next day for exchange) and when i was paying, i asked the salesperson if they close at 5:30pm. he said ‘yeah’. when i was out the door i looked at my watch it says 5:40pm. when i looked up their website at home, it says they close at 6pm on weekdays.
i get that perhaps they are going for a ‘chill’ and ‘we don’t push to sell’ kind of attitude… but it doesn’t work if your customers feel like they are a bother when they shop.

STR/​KE MVMNT is an athletic footwear and apparel brand that merges technical performance with a classic aesthetic. I will be honest in saying that I wasn’t sure what to make of this store when I walked in. The layout of the store is well organized. Prices for what they are is $$$ but expected. The shoes are actually really really comfortable on the heel which is big issue of mine, however, I have a wide toe which makes most shoes difficult for me. Customer service was awesome.
