One of my favorite breakfast options is the Subway flatbread. Just like the subs, I get to customize the fillings. And shoving a pile of veggies in there makes me feel like I am having something healthier than the typical fast food breakfast sandwiches. The flatbread is soft and chewy, and I love topping it all off with the southwest Chipotle sauce. It’s a large portion, well worth the price.

Subway is the«fast food» of choice for those who are more«health conscious». I generally go for a sub when I’m tired of the usual malaise of burgers and fries. While you expect each Subway to be the same, there are very stark difference from one location to the next. I am a huge fan of this location for 3 reasons. First: It’s 24 hours. In Vancouver where 24⁄7 food places seems to be an ever rarity, it’s nice to find a place for food between dusk and dawn that aren’t burgers or phở. Second: I think it’s an franchise, so they do have special offers and deals that may not be available else. I remember for a time they had a special where if you purchase a $ 20 gift card, they let you get a 6″ of your choice. It’s great to try certain subs you normally wouldn’t. Third: They simply don’t cheap out. I always hate it when you ask for«a lot of olives» and they barely give you a dozen individual pieces. I mean seriously? Are they too pricey? Has debt crisis in Greece destroyed the olive export market? Why are you giving me so little when I specially used the words«a lot of…»? The last thing you want is to repeat yourself a couple of times asking for more toppings. For this location, they certainly give what you direct them to. I ask for a little lettuce, they give me a little bit. I want more onions, they pile it on my sub. It’s just that little bit extra that makes me into a repeat customer. A 4 stars out of 5 is what I give this place. Is the score used as a comparable to fine dining? Nope. It’s 4⁄5 in relative to other Subway locations and other fast food joints.
