* Full contact meat and seafood market * I know the name of this place sounds like it would focus on seafood. Actually it sounds like it would be a seafood shop controlled by the Teamsters. They did have trucks parked out back that were loading up for deliveries. Hm… But the store is actually half seafood and half meat. And I didn’t see any Teamster looking folks inside. There were probably 30 or 40 Chinese customers, with the youngest being about 50 years old. They were crowding around the various counters in this very small space trying to get their orders placed. Quite the scene! They have a full-on raw butcher and HK style prepared meats counter with a nice variety including the usual suspects of roast pork, char siu, bbq duck, etc. But they also have some of the items you won’t find at all the places like roast goose as well. Great spot for a quick inexpensive snack of char siu. I paid a little over $ 2 and got close to a half a pound of char siu! The meat was tender, with a nice crust. It wasn’t overly fatty, yet still very moist. It wasn’t sickly sweet as it can be at some places. I liked it quite a bit. The raw meat and seafood counters looked good as well — but I wasn’t heading home, and didn’t want to have to body check a senior citizen to get closer, so I didn’t investigate too carefully.
