Cant even tell its vegan. Delicious. Sweet and spicy. Great combo options. Fries, yam fries or a salad! Large variety of jones sodas or other drinks! Delicious! Located in kitsalano on broadway the street is lively and busy all the time. Street parking is available out front. But there are few spots that are free as well but you must search for them. Inside its small but clean with a few booth seatings. But it has that homey café feel. And you can tell once you walk in its a family run business. They are friendly and helpful. The no bull burger is my ultimate favourite vegan burger ever. Its delicious. A large portion size it is quite filling. It comes on a soft whole wheat bun thats a tad to big for the vegan burger. The patty is soft but has a good flavour to it. The texture is pretty darn close to beef too. Which is quite important in a burger. Honestly this burger doesnt taste like its vegetarian. It tastes more like a flavourful blend of spices on meat that gives the burger a slight kick. Its unique and ive never had anything like it. My son hates veggies. But this burger he absolutly loves. The burger is so good. Kids love it. And they know its vegtables and they still like it. Its thats hood. Theres plenty of fresh toppings on it too. Which leads to a little mess. But what burger isnt messy to eat. The sides are great. Lots of options available. But the yam fries are thin crispy and cooked perfectly. The spicy mayo dip compliments them great too. I actually really like their unique beverage options with a combo. Seriously i can have coconut waster or a specialty herbal cold tea with my meal. Not just the regular sugar filled drinks. I typically have water with my meals. But here i always cave for the coconut water. Yum. Kinda gives you the feel good about yourself bc youre eating your vegtables and wahing it down with an electrolyte filled drink. Overall. This is a must eat at place when i stop in vancouver. These burgers are delicious. I come here on every visit. Food is consistently delicious, fresh and reasonably priced. Its highly rated on Unilocal. And now i fully understand why. I wish they would expand yo other cities!

I have seen this place many times and wondered about it. I am not a vegetarian, but enjoy eating vegetarian at least once a week. I am not into a lot of vegetarian foods as I find them often times either flavourless or just too strange tasting. Not here and that’s for sure! This was the best burger I have ever had(meat or not)! The bun was very fresh and the veggie patty was flavourful and delicious. The staff was friendly and made recommendations. On top of all that the fries were crispy and yummy. The prices were very affordable and overall my experience was great.

Very good small café with tasty vegan/veggie options. The BBQ Tempeh and Vegan Wrap are both excellent options. The only downside is that they sometimes run out of menu options if they’ve had a busy lunch period. So it’s best to go earlier than later. As they pride themselves on healthier options you won’t find any caffeine here, so coffee fans will need to grab their fix from one of the nearby coffee houses.

As a vegetarian I’ve had more than my fair share of veggie burgers and the ones at Tera V are by far the best. Even the meat eaters I went with said that they were some of the best burgers they’d ever had.

Let me start off by saying that I’m not a vegetarian and I LOVE meat, that being said I’m not really a big fan of burgers. So i decided to give vegetarian burgers a try, and i have to admit it is very good, even better than beef burgers, I can hardly tell it’s not meat Very filling Their yam fries are so good and they’re healthy which is a plus!

Delicious veggie burgers with perfect gluten free buns. I wasn’t expecting much when I ordered as I was just walking by but I was really pleasantly surprised.

I love this place. It’s my go to fast food. It’s the first restaurant I thought about after coming back to Vancouver from traveling.

For what you get, this is a fun place. Vegetarian and vegan fast food style cuisine with a range of burgers, salads and wraps. Fairly greasy, but what do you expect for the style. Priced reasonably and the staff is friendly. Not the type of thing I normally eat, but it was nice for what it was and can recommend it if you’re looking for cheap, fast food vegan fare.

Tera V Burger makes a pretty darn good veggie burger. If you’re ordering just a burger, I’d give it 5 stars. Unfortunately, both the regular fries and the baked yam fries are just okay, certainly not on par with the burgers. I would recommend ordering just the no-bull burger and/or the lentil panini, but skip the fries. They cost a lot, you don’t get that many, and they’re not very good. Just my two cents, but there it is.

Love this place for a healthier burger option! Great that the yam fries are baked not fried! I always choose the BBQ Tempeh burger, it’s so good! Good value too, friendly staff and space to sit outside if it’s sunny!

As a former vegetarian, I’ve had my fair share of veggie burgers and can tell you that the secret to making a great veggie burger is not so much the burger patty itself but what fresh ingredients you put on top of it. Tera V Burger is clearly aware of this secret as their burgers are topped with fresh, flavourful veggies and condiments. Even though I’m once again a meat eater, I truly enjoyed the Garden Burger I had here the other day. So why only 4 stars if I enjoyed it so much? Well, blame the bread my burger was on. It was a bland whole wheat bun that tasted like its only purpose was to remind me that I was eating something healthy. It was rather large in relation to the burger itself, so its flavour or lack thereof dominated almost every bite. When it comes to veggie burgers, the less bread in the bun, the better. Veggie burgers are already pretty carb heavy, usually containing rice and/or other grains. Add a heavy bread to that and it’s a recipe for a carb induced food coma. As for the location, it’s right on Broadway, in the middle of lots of shops, making for a convenient pit stop while shopping. There are several small tables, ideal for 1 – 2 people each. The service was friendly and in honour of it being my first time to their shop, they gave a coupon for my next visit. I’ll gladly return to use that coupon.

I dont know about other sandwiches, but the gluten free lentil burger was the best of its kind! Enjoyed it very much. It could have a little more condiments though;-)

I ate the No Bull Burger, which the cashier recommended to me for the closest tasting to a beef burger. Great customer service, and we had an interesting chat. Not too often do you find customer service where they arent afraid to conversate, and still put you on pause if additional customers come. The signs on the window said they were the best burgers in Vancouver, and I may believe they are the best vegetarian burger, but not the burgers in Vancouver. How can you not choose the juicy taste of a beef patty?! I know, my taste is cruel. But Tera V Burgers do a great job in what they do. They didnt shame me for not being a vegetarian. They did have a painted picture of a cow to stare at me as I ate… Which made me feel kind of good. I made a choice of not eating a burger from a cow who has no say in it becoming food.

2.5* You know, this is as good as vegetarian gets. The burger is super juicy and I wasn’t feeling like it was lacking anything. But it’s not my favourite type of vegetarian burger. You get get several types: –Burger patty trying to emulate meat and ends up being a mushy mess(the worst kind) –Burger patty that is made from veggies and you can see the visible veggie bits–(my preference). Tera V is the former– it’s kind of like a mash of soy product doused in teriyaki/sesame/miso flavour to make it taste more meaty. I think there’s room in the market for a place like this. And points for the burger being juicy. But perhaps I won’t return, especially since I’m all for eating dead animal.

I’m addicted! This place gives me to satisfy my «junk food cravings»(but still I’m eating healthy)! The price is so right and the amount is so right… perfect :) :) I tried their yam fries but I’m still a fan of their crispy(and no-deep fry no-guilty) fries… I wish they opens 2nd location somewhere in downtown!!! :)

I’ve walked past Tera Burger maybe 50 times. Finally tried it this past weekend. I ordered the no-bull burger, and my friend had the flaming no bull with yam fries on the side. Staff member was quite friendly and our order was ready on the double. My burger was great! Fresh toppings, tasty bun and burger — though I still don’t know what the burger itself was made of. Well worth it at about $ 6. For a few dollars more you can get a combo. My friend didn’t find his burger spicy — he likes things very spicy though. He’s a carnivore at heart though, so perhaps that’s why he didn’t like Tera burger. I had a few of his yam fries and didn’t like them. I would definitely go back.

After reading the many five star reviews on this restaurant, I knew I had to check it out. I had pretty high standards for the burgers but it still impressed me. I ordered the ‘No Bull Burger’ and I can honestly say it was the best vegan burger I’ve had in my life. Every bite of it was a new, exciting flavour. This was also my first time trying any type of vegan mayonnaise, and although I know the chefs at Tera V Burger don’t make it, it was amaaaazing! I went here with my carnivore boyfriend who also enjoyed it his ‘No Bull Burger’ very much. Meat eaters and vegans can unite and indulge in beautiful creations from this restaurant! I also ordered a side of potato fries. I love to see more menus serving baked fries! Although traditional fries are tasty, they can leave a heavy feeling in one’s stomach which I don’t particularly enjoy. These fries were good! They weren’t as amazing as the burger was(obviously, because what could top THAT?!) but they were pretty good! The fries themselves for the price, serving size, and taste added up to 4 stars. I hope everyone goes out of their way to come eat here! I guarantee you will be more than satisfied.

This place is actually… pretty good. For under $ 11 I had the No Bull burger with a Boylan’s root beer and fries. The person behind the till asked if I had been there before and gave me a loyalty card, which wasn’t bad. The No Bull Burger tastes like a lean ground meat patty(so if you ever had a burger patty made from lean or extra lean there is no fat.) However, it really tasted like a hamburger. If I did not know it was not beef I would have been fooled into thinking it was just a normal beef hamburger. No wonder it was voted as one of the best burgers in the city.(The sign actually drew me into this place.) The fries were shoe string fries and complimented the burger well. It didn’t take too long for my order to be served and the place was really clean which I appreciated. I would come back.

I’m not a vegan, but decided to try out this place because my friend is one. I can’t believe that this place has been open for 2 years and I’ve never visited it. So it’s a burger and sandwich place that has vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free food. There’s not a lot of selection, but what they have on the menu looks yummmy. The popular burger is the no bull burger and it comes in different styles, like the no bull deluxe or the smokey no bull. The BBQ tempeh burger wasn’t bad either. It really is amazingly delicious and tasty… ha ha… even without the bull !! For a little place, it does get busy and yes, definitely worth a try !!
