The Dressing Room

I wanted to come here to look at some very conservative office clothes for myself which I got, however, come on… seriously the prices were beyond insulting and customer service… very rude and virtually non existent.

Unless you like ordinary clothes for ladies of a certain age priced 30% more than
at average department stores don’t bother with this place. The only reason I can
Imagine that women would buy here instead of at Winners or the Bay is because
of good, knowledgable personalized service. You won’t find that here.
Also if you don’t want to go downtown it is convenient. I thought it would be just right
for a lady I know who is over 70 and needed some clothes. She uses a cane and we
took over 20 minutes looking around at every area of the store.
No one approached us or greeted us during that time. My friend tried on some clothes
and still no one spoke to us. The closest one of the badly dressed saleswomen came
to us was to aggressively re-​organize a rack through which my friend had looked.
In North America this is elementary in retail: don’t come up behind customers and
busily show them how much damage they did to a rack! My friend didn’t try
anything that fit and anyway the atmosphere was not exactly welcoming.
She was too tired to walk anymore and I asked a saleswoman to call us a taxi. She was silent but it was clear from her angry body language that she thought she was doing us a big favour. I’ve taken older ladies here twice this year and I won’t be going back.

This store looks very nice outside and in, but prices are too high and the clothes are not really of good quality. WHAT IS VERY BAD IS THE RETURN POLICY AND LACK OF HELP TO RESOLVE PROBLEMS WITH THEIR MERCHANDISE. A pair of pants I bought there kept ripping, I paid about $ 30 to a tailor to fix the holes (thought maybe my nails were too long when i wore them, but which was not often, BUT THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN, ANYWAY !), and recently, the whole ass ripped when I puuled them up after being to the washroom in public — verrrrry embarassing! I asked the store to send them back to the company, knew no store credit would be ageed tom but the manager would not even do this. Considering reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN! BEWARE!
