Food was decent, can’t complain for the price. Servers were friendly, but like the other reviews stated a little slow, even on a night that wasn’t so busy. & also have to almost yell when talking to someone across the table, so if you don’t mind loud music, and cheap decent food, I’d recommend it.

Good cheap food with a young urban rock atmosphere. Love coming here for some cheap eats as everything is under $ 5(and tasty) however, service is usually slow so dont expect this to be a in and out quick place. 4⁄5 stars because of the service.

Friendly staff, great drink prices and delicious food for a very reasonable price make this one of the best little spots to eat along Granville Street. The Pesto Linguine is to die for — thoroughly recommend!

Are you serious. Juke box speakers now don’t work? I just put $ 20 bucks in. Can’t someone see how much I’m getting fucked over? No management? Dude screw you

I have to say, the food was cheap but not good. I ordered the salt and vinegar fried chicken wings and on half of them, they were still bloody on the inside. Talk about a disappointment. This isn’t the first time either. Also secondly APPARENTLY some waiter’s phone got stolen. But not OUR waitress. Yet, she still felt the need to talk to 10 customers and make us wait 20 minutes to get our bill. Yes I checked how long it actually was. To add further insult to injury she was incredibly rude when collecting our money and giving back change, and even in the beginning she was rude too. Anyways, this was literally the WORST service I have gotten ANYWHERE in Vancouver. I honestly can’t think of anywhere else that’s been worse.

Awesome spot to grab a quick drink, the neighbourhood pub feel with a bit younger crowd.(Mid 20’s) perfect place for the college aged guy to look for some pretty girlies.

The food isn’t amazing but it is cheap. The staff though are all amazing. I come back all the time for food and drinks. I love this place as it’s comfortable and once again the staff are fantastic.

Came here for the first time. Had pulled pork sandwich, chicken wings, shepherd’s pie for two people. Food was good but nothing special other than the price. Service was good and place was clean. I’d come back again quality.

I used to like this little spot for their great cheap eats, drinks and casual atmosphere, but the last time I went I hated it so much I don’t know if I will ever be back. My food was sub par at best; the«creamy coleslaw» that was advertised was actually a couple strips of carrot and a chunk of broccoli(???) sitting dryly on top of my pulled pork. The pork itself lacked any sauce nor seasoning and simply tasted like low grade fat-ridden pork. Fries were absolutely drowned in salt and all about 2″ long. The music was, to put it bluntly, worse than the holocaust. Awful thrash rock played at a volume so loud that everyone has to yell, and the entire song is basically symbols. I had a headache within minutes, and I LIKE loud rock music. LIKE??? I asked the waitress to turn the music down and she kind of gave me and awkward«uhh, umm, maybe umm I’ll see», and then talked to a large dude behind the bar who ignored her. So there I sat, plugging my ears and scowling at my joke of a meal… And we are totally ignored. No one comes to ask how our food is, the only reason they noticed we wanted the bill was because my friend started waving cash around. We were ignored from the time our awful food was brought out, all the way until we were leaving. Boycott these cashcows… Their integrity is gone and all they care about now is hiring pretty, skinny waitresses who take forever to do anything and chat with their friends at the bar.

Been here a few times. Not too bad. Today, we walked in and seated ourselves as the sign invited us to. Our server walked by and gently slammed menus on the table and I tried to say hi but her back was turned and she was walking away. She took our drink orders and one of them was wrong, we tried to confirm with her as she walked away but she was gone too fast again so when we next saw her and the drinks were our I had to ask her nicely to swap it out. Food was alright as well, no complaints for a $ 4.95 menu. I looked over at my can of Coke next to my ice cream float and a cockroach was trying to crawl up it. I think at this point I was just really indifferent to the situation. She came by and I asked her to take it away and also for the bill. She said sorry about it. I said it’s okay. No discount on the tab. Very mediocre experience at best.

This is one of those cheap eats bars on Granville, and it’s a winner if you take it for what it is. The food is well worth the $ 5 – 7 you’re paying, and the atmosphere kind of sways from fun to rowdy depending on the day. I eat here when I’m looking for a quick bite and a couple drinks with friends on the nights my wallet is feeling a little abused.

Here is our favorite place to listen to music and have some drinks before a concert or just to enjoy a friday night. The factory has all this personalities that come and go, it’s location, in the middle of one of the most weird streets in Vancouver, gives you that plus. The music is AMAZING, Sonic youth, Tiger Army, Rancid, and many more classic rock bands that will make the best bar experience. I always drink brew beer, dark, my husband gin tonic(he says is the perfect drink, because always is good anywhere), sometimes we ask for the chicken wings or some snack to go with our beverages, but is just bar food so don’t expect gourmet food. Here is to have a great time, to come with friends, chat loud and laugh tons. And remember the most important part is the great music selection.

You kind of get what you pay for. It’s very comparable to Te Warehouse when it comes to the quality of the food. The menu was very limited of choices but there was a variety. The bar is very spacious but I noticed that the chairs/seats were coming apart and I almost fell off, which was very inconvenient.

I would give it a 3+. The food is, as others have said, nothing special, but it’s also not bad. We had yam fries, poutine, pork belly mac and cheese and some sort of thai salad, and all but the salad were a solid«OK»(the salad was disappointing). This place makes up for the just OK food by a) being really cheap b) its great service c) cool atmosphere. Another minus, though, is that on a Wednesday evening it was unbearably loud inside(as in, music playing too loudly to have any semblance of a conversation) by about 8 p.m. Luckily the outside patio is heated.

Soooo,. I just went here with my wife as a quick stop before a vogue show and our bill came to $ 10. That’s for 2 meals… I’m giving this place 4 stars for the serious cheap factor,. I mean really cheap and still edible(food is a 3 as a base score). Though the food is nothing earth shattering,. it is decent, as is the service. What this place does is what I’ve rarely seen elsewhere: they give quite small portions,. but make all the meals $ 4.95(except the legendary Anaconda sandwich), and do we really need a bigger portion? I think I often eat too much because I’ve paid for it. In this case a decent chicken wrap and a bit of salad and I didn’t feel I ate too much. The décor reminds me so much of the 90s,… in the good way. Dark interior and band posters on the walls with plenty of booths(and clean). Admittedly, I guess there are a few places worth stopping on in that part of Granville.

When I came in they played 90’s hip hop. Where was the metal that everyone speaks of? I can in here to buy $ 5 nachos and got what I expected. Noting glamours, just simple to hit the spot. Guy at the bar was really nice. It is small and narrow. I got stuck there watching Night at the Museum on the big screen.

Not alot of beer options so for the aficionados out there maybe pass on this place. The food is very inexpensive. .I had the all you can eat Perogies which was good and bad. The first serving was on point and delicious but the second serving was slightly burned and didn’t even come with the bacon or special sauce.

TUESDAY: For Perogies lovers ALLYOUCANEATPEROGIES. Compared to the Moose the music was just loud enough. What?! 5 $ Granville Island Honey beer. Fresh booze. Fresh food. I got the BBQ pulled chicken sandwich.Delish. Really good, fast and friendly service. I’m used to go to the Moose or the Warehouse. Well… What a GOODFIND! I will come back soon for booze and food(might try the quesadilla).

I literally have never had anything bad here. And we are always shocked when we get the bill and it’s less than the cost to make the food on our own at home. The only downside to this place is the dark atmosphere, but any table on or by the patio is just fine. As the food is so cheap this place is great for sharing with groups but careful, the portions are huge! There are options for any eater here from vegan to Gluten free to just plain picky. I recommend the BT Kale Caesar salad. I also just had the pulled pork with roasted potatoes and chill greens. Healthier but taste options
