Quick, friendly, efficient, reasonable pricing. Found Victoria Lamp Shade on Unilocal,as we didn’t know where to have our lamp repaired. They also make lamp shades, in many contemporary styles, colours. We’d highly recommend Victoria Lamp Shade.
Previous repair from Lantern Lighting on Burrard wasn’t very good, so didn’t return there.

I had an antique lamp that needed fixing, and I had no idea where to go. I found The Victoria Lamp Shade Company and swung by. I met Gail, who was absolutely delightful. Wonderful customer service! Turns out the probably wasn’t too serious so she fixed it on the spot and didn’t charge me.
I took in another antique lamp a few days later, and she fixed that up for me within a few days.
If I ever need a lampshade or future lamp repairs, this is my place now, and I will look forward to seeing Gail every time. I highly recommend this shop!

In terms of selection, no doubt they have an outstanding selection, as well as complete sets with the stands. Being in Kits, expect the top-​end prices, it ain’t no Ikea.
Did find an interesting piece of Asian design, as well as the only red one in the entire store lol.
Can’t say the service was overwhelming, worker there busy chatting w/​a customer over personal stuff.

They sell shades, not lamps but shades for you lamp. I have some lamps at home with bases that are great, however, the shades are out dated and have yellowed. I am very pleased with what the have to offer and that they’re a speciality shop for this. The customer service was awesome and the lady at the til was patient in answering all my questions.

Just wanted to add my 2 cents. My mom was looking to replace some of her worn lampshades. She didn’t really know where to go since the place that she went to before closed down. I did a quick google and Unilocal search and found this place.
My mom went the morning of Christmas Eve and the store happened to be open. The lady was very helpful and friendly. One of the shades my mom bought was the wrong size and she hurried back later that day to get it replaced. All in all, great service and selection. I think this is basically the go-​to place for lampshades in Vancouver.

I’d driven by this store on several occasions while thinking about a lampshade I wanted to replace & today I’m glad I finally took the time to stop. I wasn’t sure exactly what I was looking for but due to the selection available, I found the perfect shade! This is definitely a shop worth checking out if you’re in the market for a lamp or just a lampshade. Very impressive selection, pricing and customer service.

A friend who frequents this shop recommended I go in to find a lampshade as I was looking for a particular style and they have a good selection. Not only was I impressed with the selection but I received exceptional customer service. I would definitely recommend them.
