Tip Toe Nails Beautique

I really enjoyed my experience with Tip Toe Nails Beautique :) I’m so happy to find a place that is professional, friendly and fast! I loved the way my nails looked and really enjoyed working with Jennifer who is perhaps one of the best conversationalists I’ve met in a long time. Really happy with everything!

Disappointing experience. I was referred by a friend who told me a pedicure was $ 30. I was charged $ 36.25. The lady that did my pedicure nicked my toe and it was bleeding. She looked embarrassed, she apologized and I said it was fine, but I was more concerned about how sanitary the utensils were. She was stopped by her coworker mid way through the pedicure. I felt like I was serviced by some jr staff while the more experienced staff sat around. She did a good job painting the polish on. Being a new mom, the chance to get away for an hour to get my toes done is a big deal. I walked out feeling remorseful for spending $ 40 when the bottom of my feet are still as rough as they were when I got there.

I walked into this salon to have my shellac polish removed (which was applied else where) and to have it re-​applied. The girl was friendly and began to put the foils on my nails with the acetone. She then moved onto another customer and a different girl proceeded to remove the shellac by scraping my nails. She did two nails and I said she was peeling off the layers of my nail not just the polish. She said «No I’m not» and put the foils back on and walked away.
Five minutes later she continued to scrape my nails and after damaging two more nails I told her to stop and that it wasn’t acceptable. The original girl came over to see what the problem was. She ripped layers off four of my nails and one has a huge indent in the middle because she scraped my nail so hard and ripped multiple layers off. They then tried to fix it by adding crazy glue. I’m absolutely appalled that a nail technician could damage my nails so badly and be so careless. I appreciate the more experienced technician stopped what she was doing with her client and tried to fix my nails but it was too late. Now I just have to wait for them to grow out.
Needless to say I would never go there again.

I won’t go anywhere else. I’m extremely picky about my pedicures. I want my pedicurist to take a great deal of time on trimming the dead skin. This is hard to find but they do an amazing job and they have a huge variety of colours and nail art. The owner is very welcoming and they use liners in their pedi spas so that you aren’t at risk for infection or fungus. Best service best quality job. Thumbs up all the way

This nail place is great! Service is very thorough, the girls are very nice and nails/​toenails turn out perfect every time. I used to drive all the way to All Seasons Nails in Point Grey (they are also very good) but then I stumbled upon this place in my neighbourhood and haven’t looked back. I highly recommend Tip Toe Nails. They also offer waxing fyi.
