Trees Organic Coffee

I love trees organic for the location and ambiance and particularly their working hours (they open early and close late). Their cheesecakes are varied but the quality is inconsistent. I love their scones though and they have an impressive tea menu. They have wifi too, and — thank goodness — no loud music. I have been to their other location on Arbutus but the downtown one is my favourite.

Really nice coffee shop in a beautiful heritage building on Granville. I ordered an Americano and it was really good. The customer service however, left something to be desired. The girl working the till this morning was extremely unfriendly and borderline rude. I’ll never understand why people like this work in customer service. Kind of ruins the whole experience.

Came in on Saturday (today) and really liked the convenient location to Pacific Centre Mall. Nice café. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Got the peaches and cream tea which tasted good (a bit too light for my liking but nice).
Fast WiFi with convenient power plug to get some work done. Nice atmosphere in the café. Overall nice experience.

The coffee shop as quite good and the blueberry bran muffin just came fresh from the oven! It was pretty delicious and not too sweet which is great. The service was a bit slow, but I was not in a rush so it was OK.

The best chai latte in all of Vancouver. Aaaand they have almond milk.

The best cheesecakes I have ever tried in my life. It’s so delicious. My favourite is Walnut cheesecake (everyone should try it!!) but I also like sin, chocolate and new york cheesecake. Hope I will try everything in this place haha

Conveniently located right across from Waterfront skytrain station. Came here around 9pm on a Sunday night. There were a few dates and some students studying. Nice and quiet atmosphere to chill and relax after shopping in the busy downtown district. I’ve read around that Trees Organic serves the «best» cheesecake in Vancouver, so I came here to have a taste as I wasn’t impressed by the popular cheesecake etc. on granville.
I had the seasonal flavor-​Cranberry & Orange with a gingerbread crust and my friend had the Raspberry white chocolate. So…whether it’s the best cheesecake, depends on the flavor. In my opinion, while they’re trying to be creative for the season, the Cranberry & Orange was a fail. I did not like the candied oranges mixed in my cheesecake and the cranberry sauce on top didn’t do much for the cheesecake. The raspberry white chocolate was more dense, like how a perfect cheesecake should be and the flavor was good. I get the sweetness from the chocolate and the tartness from the raspberries. However, presentation-​wise, the cranberry & orange wins the battle.
Would I go back again for $ 7 per slice? If the rest of the regular flavors are as good as the raspberry white chocolate, yes!

— Sloppy, melting whipped cream on the cake
— Cake was sliced with an UNCLEANED knife which left a brown line from the previously sliced cake on the sliced part of my cake.

My friend took me here because apparently Trees Organic Coffee is one of the best dessert places for cheesecake. We shared an original cheesecake which tasted alright, but it wasn’t noticeably tastier or different from other places. I personally liked the cheesecake from Cheesecake etc. Good location in the heart of gastown but $ 7 for a slice can be a bit pricey.

Good biscotti. Good hot chocolate. Ok coffee. Ok cookie. Good cheesecake. Ok service.

Not good. Gross still warm iced mocha that was bitter, unsweet and watery. Like a watered down crappy americano. Sadly tim Horton’s tastes better.
I took a friend here as they did not want to go to a really commercial place and although I had not been for years, I remembered it being decent. Bad call.
Both of us ditched the drinks I paid 9 $ for, and sought out anything but that. We hit cartems and revolver and we were right as rain again.

The 4 stars I’m giving them is all based on the cheesecake itself really.
I’ve been here many times through the past few years. I feel like service wise, it’s always different and it depends on if you are sitting in or doing take out. When you do take out, I feel like the staff need some training on packaging take out containers. There has only been once where I didn’t have to worry about it falling out the container or anything like that.
I always get my new york cheesecake with strawberries on the side. The cake itself is very consistent. It has not once disappointed me which is great. I had other flavours of cheesecake there and i still find the New York one is pretty much my favourite one.
I would still continue to come here and recommend others but don’t expect too much for the service because I believe they hire international students. Staff changes up all the time.

It was really good, but a little heavy for me. Especially Chocolate Holic. Me and my friend couldn’t finish them. On the other hand, Sin was not so much heavy because of cherries. I thought it was similar to NY Cheesecake at Starbucks. But we needed to pay much more than that.

お店は落ち着いた雰囲気で、たくさんの人で賑わっていました。ネットの口コミで見つけたこのお店。わたしはそこで人気って言われてたSinチーズケーキを注文。一緒に行った友人はChocolate holicチーズケーキ。ここのは、スタバのニューヨークチーズケーキを更にもったりさせた感じ。Sinはプレーンとチョコのマーブルに、チェリーが入ってる欲張りなチーズケーキ。色んな味が楽しめてお得かも。重かったけど飽きずに食べれました。チョコの方はチーズケーキの味もしっかりするけどより濃厚でおいしかった。でもその分半分くらいでもう飽きちゃったかなー。
注文のときは気付かなかったけど、1カット結構なお値段ですね。一度で十分です。

Fav coffee spot
3 years ago, I was introduced to this spot, and it was love at first site:) the store is very cozy, coffee is absolute awesome, and they did not lie when they claimed that they have the best cheesecake in town:) Staffs are friendly, which is a huge bonus:) this would be a good first date spot

Very decent coffee. Basic café set up. Good ceaser salad. They initially messed up our order sending out a cappuccino instead of my chai latte, but the moment we mentioned the mistake it was instantly rectified. It could be cosier, but for a quick cup of something it’s perfect.

Ordered Sin cheesecake and a cup of drip coffee. Sin cheesecake was rich, delicious and yummy. It also has sour and sweet flavour to it and I loved it. Coffee was bit strong for my liking. Total price for coffee ($ 2) and cheesecake ($ 8) were $ 10 together. Too expensive, big and filling, but very good in my opinion.

It’s a little pricey… The cheesecakes are around ~$ 8/​slice. However, I must admit, they do taste pretty good :9 I do prefer the cheesecakes at Cheesecake etc over Tree Organic though. And I think I like the ambiance in Tree Organic in Gastown more.

I’m a big fan of Tree Organic’s cheesecakes! I used to go Richard and Gastown café, Arbutus location going downward for service and cheesecake. Therefore, I tried Granville café this time.
I found new barista was friendly and cheesecake still good.
The only problem for this location is hard to find parking. Actually, no parking on Granville St.
Tree Organic, please don’t disappointing me!

I really wanted to be blown away by the cheesecake based on everyone’s reviews. Sadly, it was just ‘good’. I love that they have them though and the staff were super friendly.
Also had a hot chocolate, which was good as well, but again — nothing worth going out of your way for.
Trees is a nice place to hang out though!
