Food was pretty good. Had their bulgogi hot dog and a tofu quesadilla. Friendly service, however, being the only ones to order, the order still took over 10mins. Def wouldn’t recommended if you’re looking for a quick bite during lunch, as I can’t imagine how long it would be if they were busy. If time isn’t an issue and you’re looking new to try. This place is worth a look.

My lone snack of a tofu taco was pretty tasty, I thought. It had that shredded cheddar cheese look similar to chili dogs so that made it look somewhat mediocre. The 2 korean ladies seemed pleasant, though. If only the food was great. Maybe they have specialties over the rest made better?

On our most fantastic visit to Vancouver, I was totally impressed by the street food scene. Tasty morsels to tempt me around every corner! I stumbled across this little truck completely by accident. Not the best location in terms of foot traffic. In reading the reviews, I have to wonder– have ursu undergone some major revamping since these reviews? I had both the bulgogi(not ground beef) and the tofu tacos; and both were super tasty. Keep in mind that I come from LA– the home of the Korean taco truck. I ain’t no korean taco newbie. I do think it’s important to have the kimchi on top. Also the older lady was super chatty and friendly. I would have totally tried the quesadillas had it not been for the fact that we only had a week to eat our way through vancouver!

I hate wasting money. And I dislike that Vincci even put two stars on this one! She is so nice.

Disappointing. Tried a bulgogi beef taco. It was essentially a soft taco, with a mound of stir fried bulgogi beef. Really nothing special, and I really expected something more.

I’ve been very excited about the variety of street food now offered in Vancouver. A month ago, I tried Ursu and their Korean taco and was incredibly disappointed. It was the kind of food you’d expect a college student with no cooking experience to make when they first move out from home. It was a raw soft tortilla filled with ground beef with a sweet bottled«asian» sauce, shredded iceberg lettuce, diced tomato and pre-shredded packaged cheddar. It was like an Old El Paso taco kit taco, but with way less flavour. It blew my mind that something this mediocre and uninspired would actually be served on the streets of Vancouver. I ended up throwing my taco in the garbage. With the amount of good food options available downtown, I will never go back.

Does Ursu translate to mediocre? Today was my first attempt at the food cart scene this season(not counting Japa). I ordered the Bulgogi and Buldak tacos with a can of coke for $ 6.98. I didn’t get a chance to ask for hard or soft tacos, and was given 2 soft tacos in less than a minute. Not much friendly conversation here. Perhaps they were tired from being cooped up in that blazing hot kitchen all day? I liked the Buldak taco, as the spicy chicken did have a bit of umph in its bite. But the Bulgogi just tasted like ground beef straight outta the frying pan. Throw in the iceberg lettuce which is always a downer and a sprinkle of orange and white cheese and I left my little concrete perch with a feeling of indifference. If you are a big eater like me, then consider this a snack or you’ll go broke in a hurry. My tummy was quite pissed off with this tiny lunch.
