Poissonnerie L’Artisant de la Mer

C’était la journée de mon anniversaire et je voulais préparer un repas cru, histoire de manger plus santé et léger. Donc, mon choix s’est arrêté sur un tartare de poisson et des huîtres fraîches en entrée. J’aime bien les poissonneries à Montréal, mais je né voulais pas faire 50 km pour cela.
Cela tombe bien, car à 10 mn de chez moi, j’ai découvert ce petit bijou de boutique. Le poisson est frais (non, ça né pue pas du poisson quand c’est frais!) sauf les crevettes qui sont surgelées pour des raisons d’hygièné. Les huîtres sont grosses et les prix sont raisonnables. L’employé, un Marseillais très sympathique, nous a aidé à choisir notre souper (une truite saumonée et des huîtres américaines). C’est aussi lui qui cuisine les mets surgelés vendus sur place.
Si vous êtes dans le coin, allez y jeter un coup d’oeil, vous né le regretterez pas!

A small boutique with high quality fish and seafood.
We moved recently to the neighborhood and are still in the process of finding good local businesses. We are fan of raw fish and seafood and we really don’t trust supermarkets as our suppliers for this. So, we decided to try this little shop on a strip of highway 20 in Dorion for an oysters and tartare meal yesterday.
The place is small but the selection is wide and the quality is high. Produce are fresh and the affable staff are passionate about their offering.
For our tartare, there was the most conventional choices of salmon and tuna, but we decided to try a salmon trout and it turned out to be delicious and a bit different choice. You could taste the freshness and high quality at every bite.
The also have a good variety of oysters to choose from and the prices are good.
They also offer ready to eat cooked meals that we haven’t tried but it did look very good.
If you want to have a personalize service in a place that sell high quality fish and seafood at good prices then this place is for you! What’s not to like?

Je viens de cuisiner les crab cakes que j’ai acheté il y a quelques semaines. Comme m’avait dit le poissonnier, ils étaient fait de crab a 100%. Délicieux et très facile a faire. Simplement faire doré en poêlon doucement dans un peu d’huile.
