OMG — avoid at all costs.
Poor quality, horrendous layout, cluttered, overpriced/​outdated items with unfriendly staff… this store fails on so many levels.
Best thing going for it is that parking on this side of Vaughan Mills is not as bad as on the north side… I usually park here and enter the mall through Designer Depot.

I was only able to read the 2 other reviews fr the Designer Depot after spending over an hour there… I really enjoyed myself. While the store may not have a lot of ‘fashionable’ (this is a VERY distasteful word for me) clothing it does have a lot of well made clothing at a low price.
I left with a few pairs of jeans and a few shirts… nothing fancy but comfortable and of good quality.

There are limited reasons to go here. It’s a place to go to if you need cheap clothes to bum around in or paint your bedroom and you’re not going to get freaked out you get paint, dirt, grease, human blood, or beer on what you’ve bought here. There’s that. Most of the clothes here are for people who have really abdicated all responsibility in terms of dress. The law requires you to not be naked, the weather requires you to wear a coat, your mother’s third wedding requires you to wear a shiny suit, black shirt, and white tie with matching belt, the girls at the club like you best if they think maybe you got there on a motorcycle and not the TTC.

Bought 4 items which looked OK at the store, but they looked pretty bad when I tried them on at home. Wanted to return them but unfortunately when I looked at the receipt it said No Refund, but, exchange only within 7 days. Too bad, because there was nothing else I like.

Do yourself a favour! Don’t waste your time at Designer Depot when you shopping in Vaughan Mills!
Designer Depot represented HBC’s entrance into the off-​price market in Canada.
I don’t even shop at regular Hudson Bay Company Stores… I can’t imagine shopping at Designer Depot.
Everything here are so outdated and cheap (not in value but in quality!)
