Leon’s Boot Alterations and Shoe repair

I found this place online. At first, I was hesitant because google maps shows the address at a residential area. I knew it might be a home based business; but with internet scams proliferating these days, it is hard to trust everything you find in the net. I tried to find reviews online. There were a few google reviews but none on Unilocal.I contacted the business and they were responsive and professional. Still, I had my doubts. I decided to drive to the address and check it out. If it seems fishy, then I will drive away. When I reached the place, there was a small sign at the front door and Leon greeted me warmly. I saw pictures of his work (same as the one on his website) up on a flat screen TV at his office. He asked me to fit the boots and placed a mark on them on how big he needs to take in. He asked me when I needed them and said to call him before picking it up.
I got a slip (sort of like a receipt) that I can use when I pick up the boots. I did not have to pay anything when I dropped off my boots. He said that payment will be when I pick it up because he wants to make sure that I am happy and satisfied with his work. I decided to pick up my boots on a weekend because the weekday rush hour traffic is horrible! And it is quite a long drive for me to get there.
I picked up my boots today. He had me tried them on first to see if it fits and if I am satisfied with the work. They looked amazing and fitted perfectly! They look as good as new! I cannot physically see any of the alterations done.
I highly recommend Leon’s Boots Alterations for boots related work. I had mine taken in. They charge reasonable prices and do a great job, which is rare these days!
