Let me first start by saying I’m referring to the J Crew Factory outlet at Halton Hills. I always receive great service at the Vaughn Mills location. The staff at Vaughn Mills goes out of their way to personalize my experience.
As for Halton Hills, what can I say– but thank goodness J Crew Factory has nice clothing! The service that I’ve received here the 3 times I’ve gone has never been good. Staff are usually spending more time conversing amongst their selves.
In terms of the clothing and quality– I am a fan because I usually purchase their items on sale and find if you wait for their 50% off the entire store sale, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Three stars for the shorts I bought. I have washed and dried them, and they came out with color and size intact. One star for service. I like to browse on my own, and was pestered by 3 staff members asking in short order if I found what I wanted. How can I know 5 – 10 minutes into the store? Then [apparently I was too long in the fitting room] one needed to ask if everything was ok in there. Like, BACK OFF, give me space. One good point is their charge card terminals: state of the art, back lit and large font. [Hilfiger store was the opposite: tiny dark screen].

I’m not sure of the deal here. I think everything is 40% off the price tag. If you look at the price tag alone you think «same prices as the retail stores». But focus on the 40% off signs on the tables.
Alas, J. Crew is still J. Crew.

J. Crew might not be for everyone.
I personally find their style ok as a casual wear but a little pricey at full price. This newly opened Factory Outlet does offers saving of 40% off the original prices.
Services is excellent! The sales here are all so helpful as they really goes out of their way to help with sizes!
It might worth your while to hop in to look around to see if there’s something that you might like on sale…
