I went in with some pretty obscure questions about the many different paint types and colours available, and was impressed by the very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I left with paint perfectly suited to my project, and some safety razor blades too. Recommended.

BC Shavers is the première hobby shop in Victoria. They sell RC everything, plastic models, die cast, N scale, HO scale, rockets, parts, etc.etc.

Large hobby /​model shops just aren’t found as frequently as they were when I was a kid. This store is large and has it all: small /​large/​huge models (plastic and R/​C), trains, paints, hobby tools and more. Staff was ever-​present and knowledgeable.

I visited the shop for the first time a few weeks ago, and I was impressed. The place isn’t a big store, but it is really packed with hobby supplies. Not the cheap plastic of many shops, but solid high quality trains and planes.
The staff are friendly, the prices fair — I am definitely going back again!
