What a disappointment. With a couple(and just a couple) exceptions the food was mediocre at best. I have said this time and time again in different venues all over, if you serve a soggy food on a crisp cracker or toast the cracker or toast WILL get soggy in no time. If restaurants insist on serving this kind of food you HAVE to make it to order, it cannot sit around on a tray. The venue was so crowded you could barely move. People were rude for the most part, pushing and shoving. Vendors were running out of food an hour into service. 2 hours was no where near long enough for something like this. I would recommend a four hour even in a larger venue. Highlights of the night: Wandering Mollusk — can’t go wrong with fresh oysters Cant remember who did it but upstairs there was a vegan item, smoked pumpkin and picked carrot and radish that was so amazing Also there was a tostada upstairs with spicy black beans and pickled cabbage that was fantastic. Biggest disappointment: 10 Acres, I found the item completely bland and flavourless The staff at this even deserve a shout out. They really did an excellent job from greeting, coat check, runners, and even wishing everyone a good night as they left. That was a service you don’t see often and I was very impressed.
