Great service and our room was beautiful. We had a great view of the harbour and the room was very clean and modern. It was a nice surprise when one of the staff members knocked on our door and gave us a plate of chocolate and snacks and wished us a happy anniversary. The breakfast in the lounge is small and simple but it does the trick. Definitely our first pick when staying in Victoria. The location is also very convenient as it’s a very close and easy walk to get to restaurants and shops in the harbour.

Delta Ocean Pointe is a great addition to the Marriott Autograph Collection. We had the pleasure of staying here during our time in Victoria(Vancouver Island). The hotel location is perfect in that it is a short walk or water taxi to the Parliament, Fisherman’s Wharf and Government Street. If walking is less than ideal, free shuttle service is also offered throughout the downtown area. The hotel also offers 24 hour room service, has a concierge level which is open 7 days a week and a has a full service restaurant and bar which offers great views of the water. Concierge and Wifi are free for Gold and Platinum Reward Members. The concierge staff were super friendly, attentive and informative. One of the ladies armed us with courage to take the public bus to Butchart Gardens on our second visit. $ 2.50 versus $ 65 taxi ride is a no brainer. Overall our stay was great but there are few areas in need of tweaking.(1)The sheets on our king bed were a wee bit too small,(2) we learned of the shuttle service from reading reviews and(3) we were told to use a taxi for airport transportation on the basis that it was much cheaper when it is without a doubt more expensive.

Great place. That could be the entire review. We stayed for a week and it was great. The room was very clean and well kept. The valet service made me feel like a big shot. The squash court was great and the restaurant is to die for. With a very romantic and great view of the harbour. Last it is a 20 minute walk from downtown and the harbour.

Had a great weekend with the girls and Delta was a part that. The hotel staff are friendly and informative. They have a free shuttle to and from downtown. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant, Lure, is a great spot to get a few drinks and have some snacks. A few of us had the wings, meatballs and herb fries. They sure know their fries in Canada! We also ended up having breakfast here as well since it was convenient and we could catch the Seahawks game at the same time. The breakfast was good. I tried the salmon eggs Benedict and it was poached perfectly and the smoked salmon wasn’t too salty. Also had the foragers omelet. It had more spinach than mushrooms — not something I’d get again. Both came with very tasty crisp potatoes. Also tried the French toast with bananas and it was not too sweet but I wish it was a little more eggy and less dry in the middle. We also spent time at the spa. Beware — there isn’t a tranquil setting for the pool/sauna. It’s just the same spot where people workout. It’s a little odd when the spa staff takes you down the back stairwell down a floor. I got the Delta package and with gratuity it was $ 209 Canadian. Very reasonable with the exchange rate. I had a great facial and my skin felt soft and hydrated(I’m a licensed esthetician, so I’m picky), too bad I can’t remember her name though. I think it might have been Dang. I also had an hour long massage that seemed like eternity because the sweet girl kept talking. Overall, this hotel is a great place along the water and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s still close enough to walk to down town, 10 – 15 minutes.

Wow! What a nice hotel! It was a weekend away, so we had a king-sized bed, with a view of the harbour. The room was spotless. The bed was comfortable. The view incredible. We could have used a few extra towels, but a phone call would have taken care of that. The staff were friendly, courteous, and extremely helpful. The price is up there, but you definitely get what you pay for.

Stayed for three nights for a short getaway. The water-view room is great and their bed is so comfortable… I haven’t slept so soundly for a while. There are trails around the sea wall right outside the hotel to take nice walks on. My reviews would have been better if it weren’t for the way the hotel dealt with their elevator problems. We were waiting to go to our room after check in, and waited for quite a while with other people who seemed to be there for a convention. One of them told us that there were some problems with one elevator yesterday as well. In the next couple of days, the elevators were mostly not working or very slow, but in the beginning there were no signs to inform the hotel guests, so people stood there just waiting. Finally they posted some paper with arrows directing people to the service elevators. During our stay, there were a few time we had to inform confused, waiting guests on our floor as well as the lobby, that the elevators weren’t working and pointed them to the service elevator. It is not the hotel’s fault that the elevators broke down, but they didn’t handle the situation well. We checked in more than once at the front desk due to an extension of our trip, but not once did anyone inform us or apologize about the inconveniences. This explains the number of confused guests we saw waiting forever at the elevators on all of the days we stayed. My apartment would’ve handled the situation better.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at by far. The staff was so friendly! Everyone was great, but Sergi and Christina were really outstanding. Very helpful and took their time to make sure we were having a great trip and anniversary trip. The room was nice, and the Luxe restaurant was great! I’d highly recommend staying here when visiting Victoria. We’ll be back.

So far so good. Very convenient location. Walking distance to the parliament and pretty much 10 min walk to anywhere in dt victoria. Lobby is nice. The special lounge is kinda small, nothing spectacular. Nice view all around. Waiting to see the room. 4pm check in waiting… Checking time was accurate the room finished just at 4pm. The room was nice, the view from the room was great definitely worth the extra $ 100. Its beautiful here. The gym and pool facilities are okay nothing too fancy but definitely feels clean. Im going to drop one star because their elevators was having problems. All 3 of them so the wait was long and u feel like ur gonna be trapped inside at all time. I actually stayed a extra night, not by choice but car troubles. Went with the basic room which was still nice $ 185 but no view. The room was almost exactly the same except for the showers. The location of this hotel is awesome and for runners there is a great long running trail kinda like the sea wall in vancouver. Its beautiful. Great location, walkin distance to everywhere in victoria. Other then the elevators this is a 5 stsr hotel. Hotel staff is friendly and whenever we call for room service they were here pretty quickly. Dropped another star. The elevator was still all broken. We were all directed to the 1 service elevator. Went to the pool and the hot tub was closed for schedule maintenance. Shouldnt they do maintenance when the pool was actually off? Pretty dissapointed.

Hey Delta, You have business customers travelling for work, and occasionally they’ll need to use the wifi. I’m writing this from my room while connected to my phone because your internet is so terrible i couldn’t load google. This is absurd! Moving on… This hotel is beautiful and new, and you can tell. The staff that greeted us were fantastic and they let us check in early(11AM) which was fantastic. The lobby is huge and it connects to the spa, a Starbucks-ish coffee place and a restaurant. Simple, open, convenient. A bonus is that the lobby opens right up to the waterfront which is very artfully decorated with flowers and trees. You can see the parliament building and the empress hotel as well as all the water taxi’s and ferry boats. One comment I will make is that the elevators don’t require a key in order to access your floor. For a newer hotel, this was a little surprising. It isn’t a huge issue for us, but we noticed it and it did make me feel a little less secure. Our room was clean, simple, and comfortable. The king size bed is a little hard and the towels have that«bleached too much» feel to them, but nothing unbearable. I also took a turn at the spa which was FANTASTIC. They use Eminence products which are wonderful and organic. My massage was very thorough, and my facial made me look refreshed vs red which was what I wanted. All the women working there were extremely polite and professional and I would definitely come back. Overall… I’d certainly come back here. Wifi still sucks though.

My wife and I decided to spend our 9th wedding anniversary in Victoria. The hard part was figuring out which hotel, because you don’t want to screw that part up. After using Unilocal + Google + trip advisor, I selected Delta. I booked the Mode-King + View for a spendy 312 $ CAD/night. It was well spent. The Delta has the best views. The staff and the hotel was definitely of high quality in terms of cleanliness and amenities. It’s just a short walk to downtown, and you can get a free shuttle anywhere nearby. I highly recommend this place and we will be returning. We were in a corner King room — 828. Perfect view of the harbour.

The hotel is clean and well decorated, with a modern/contemporary design. There is one restaurant and a small café serving Starbucks coffee products. The spa is exorbitantly expensive– what can possibly be offered for a $ 200 mani/pedi?! I attended a wedding– the outdoor ceremony was beautiful, the harbor backdrop was breath-taking. Service was on spot. The food was just ok(over-cooked halibut, yummy potato salad). The staff were all friendly and attentive when you could get your hands on them.

Such fancy hotel. So luxurious. I loved it here. Sooah at the front desk was super helpful and even sent my brother a birthday appetizer plate with a personalized card. The shuttle picked us up from the Victoria clipper, the driver was nice and helpful. The hotel even has service to shuttle us from the hotel to downtown Victoria free of charge. I’d recommend this hotel to friends and family. The price is high but the experience is worth the money. And the view is nice too.
