Local dive bar atmosphere. Has small kitchen, nothing fancy, but the food is good. Friendly service, but slow when busy. You’ll see live bands — the quality of which are hit and miss. Often the higher the cover charge, the better the band. Sunday afternoon jam can be fun — if you drink during the day. The adjoining beer store is egregiously over priced, and cashiers look like they would rather be anywhere else.

I go specifically for ZARDOZ dj nights. If you are into goth culture/synth-wave/industrial/post-punk house music there is amazing music and crows for it, great to dance to. I personally don’t like it weekend nights because I find it too crowded, loud and obnoxious

We decided to try somewhere new and arrived at Logan’s Pub. The food is excellent but the thing that really blew us away was the versatility of the chef. Hubby asked for blue cheese dressing and even though it wasn’t on the list of available dressings, the chef whipped it up from scratch! It was the most incredible, freshest, blue cheese dressing he’s ever tasted.

3 Bands, an eclectic crowd, and a LOT of fun. :) I came here earlier in the evening for dinner with my grandparents, hoping the live music started at around 7.(It doesn’t actually start till about 10:30). At first glance, Logan’s looks like a typical dive– scratched floors, barebones tables and booths(one menu per table), and an older crowd. There’s a small patio at the side, which at the time was occupied by a ‘reggae party;- so we forgot about dining al fresco. But by the time we sat down at one of the booths, we could already feel the good vibes. The waitress was incredibly sweet. She joked around with my grandfather, and when I placed my order for a heavily modified veggie burger, she got it spot-on. The menu consisted of typical pub fare– burgers, poutine and chicken wings– but both the quality and the presentation blew me away. The salad had shredded beet and carrot, sunflower seeds, and sprouts… the veggie burger was made with almonds(I think) and was just generally delicious. My grandparents shared the brie and chicken sandwich, which is served on focaccia bread, with a side of both sweet potato and regular fries. All plates were cleaned. :) Went back later that night for the music. The first band, What’s Wrong Toei, was ok… more guitar riffs than lyrics. BA Johnston was the star of the night, with his hilarious and unapologetically un-PC songs(«gimme some treats! «GST!») Can’t wait to see another one of his shows!

Dropped in on Saturday afternoon for a beer and a bite. Had to make my way to the bar and introduce myself before the staff even took notice. Had the Yam Wrapper Wrap which was ok. Fries appeared to be fresh cut and the salad was fresh and good too. So, food warrants a 3.5 Star. The service 1 – 2 Stars and the overall physical part of the pub a –1, yep, sorry to say it’s a dive. Even at noon the bathrooms were really smelly and dirty. The pool table is quite the wreck with a dirt felt that has plenty of cigarette burns. It’s too bad because the location has great potential and the outside appearance is quite attractive — that’s why we went in. I’d really encourage the owners to clean it up because I do believe they could have a solid business here.

Better than pub-food standards, and a nice mix of decadent and healthy options. Don’t miss the sweet potato fries.

Victoria has a pretty pathetic underbelly but Logan’s Tavern of the Damned does its best to help out. Underrated food — seriously. They have a small menu and know what they’re doing. In my opinion — one of the Top 3 poutines in Victoria. Come out on every Sunday between 4 and 9pm for Hootenanny. Talented(for real, mostly) local performers mixed with a smattering of crazy performers. Talent and crazy hard to distinguish.

I’m definitely a fan of Logan’s. I’ve been there more than a handful of times and always get great service. It is a super relaxed and casual atmosphere and has better pub food than I’ve had anywhere else in Victoria(and I’ve tried a lot) lots of rich and savoury flavours. The cook definitely knows what he/she is doing. They usually have a lunch or dinner special — which is always worth a try and if you’re lucky you’ll get to enjoy local live music with your meal. I definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy a great pub style meal.

Dropped in for a couple hours for their hootenanny on Sunday. Some fantastic local talent(and a couple sucky ones). Friendly, cheap pub. Not a bad place to go to share a pitcher and watch a live band. This place is not classy. Rather, it appeals to a simple crowd, mostly made up of university students. Dress down, and go enjoy the bands — it was a lot of fun.

Logan’s is a great live venue. There’s lots of room and fairly friendly staff. I haven’t been there for food in almost five years, so I can’t comment on the current state of the kitchen and what they put out. Drinks are moderately priced. The womens bathroom is a dungeon. Absolutely revolting. EDIT2÷21÷09 They’ve put in some new doors on the stalls in the ladies room so they actually close AND lock.

nothing really special here. their bathrooms are atrocious the drink prices are about average they have different events going on each night they close the kitchen at 10pm here so if you get hungry or drunk. there are two pretty good pizza places within a couple blocks of Logan’s
