Was in town for IM Victoria 70.3 triathlon and need some adjustments made to my tri bike. They were able to do everything on the spot and offered to follow up the next day after I went for a test ride — to ensure the adjustments were good. They charged me what I’d say was a VERY fair price, frankly less than I expected, the service was excellent, and my bike has never shifted better! Thank you!

Wonderful customer service, but charge way to much, we’re going to charge me 165 dollars just to do somethings that only took them a few mins, and they don’t do free installations if you buy a item off them, which bicycleitis is free installs. Some of there items is way too much profit. So I talked them down to just 63 dollars and all they did was bronze. I asked them if they could Install two mirrors for me and two bags which only takes a fews mins and buy a grip thing, ended up not doing that cause of the price, but if I did those things, 165 dollars, which is a steep price, which any bike shop shouldn’t not do. Bikes shops I suggest so far not to go to is performance bikes, and recyclest Bikes shops recommended is bicycleitis.

I’ve been going to Wayne and Pam’s Performance Bicycles for a couple of years. I keep going back because of the great selection of products, friendly and knowledgeable staff, accurate work estimates, and the high quality of the workmanship and components used. I have bought kids bikes, had two bikes repaired and tuned multiple times, and have purchased equipment. Safe to say that I’m a fan. I always maintained my bikes myself, but was busy one year and took it to WPPB. When it was done, it rode like a new bike. I would never have taken the care and time to research all the right parts and work needed, then adjust everything so perfectly. Another bike I bought for cheap on Used Victoria, in a state of disrepair and neglect, also rode like new after repair and a tune-up. Amazing work by Justin. They even keep maintenance records on your bike. It’s not the cheapest store, but the value seems good for what you receive. If you want cheap stuff that breaks and ends up in the landfill a few months later, go to Canadian Tire. If you want quality products that last, and solid advice from friendly experts, go to Wayne and Pam’s Performance Bicycles. Note: Wayne and Pam’s Performance Bicycles is nothing to do with Performance Bikes in the US.

Just walked into the shop and could see they were busy. Mentioned I wouldn’t mind going tubeless and they did it on the spot no problem. Well equipped shop and nice guys. Well done.

This is the only bike store I will deal with in Victoria. I only wish I had discovered them earlier and saved me the hassles I have had with other shops(Fort St., Fairfield Bicycle, and Riders). I have bought my two oldest their bikes and gear here over the last couple of years and have been so impressed with the level of care and service. All of the staff treat children like people, rather than talking down to them or being ‘cute’. The owner impressed me when I asked him if he had the kid’s model of one of the brands he carries. He doesn’t, because he feels they are too expensive for what they offer. His focus is open offering high quality at a reasonable price and does this very well. He also carries a good assortment of good quality used bikes, so that he can meet a wide range of clients’ needs.
