(Forward: If you’ve never been professionally fitted for a bra, do it. Up to 80% of women wear the wrong size bra and you won’t believe how awesome you feel once you’ve got something on that truly fits you. It will forever change your outlook on bras and it is truly a life changing experience. While you don’t have to get it done at Change, I’d definitely recommend it!) I recently learned about Change via Unilocal.I’ve been needing a few new bras forever, but with how much a solid, professionally fit bra can run you, it gets expensive fast. What to drew me to Change was all the positive things I kept reading for their various locations. Furthermore, people kept loving their low prices. Sold! This morning I headed over to their location at Park Royal North in West Vancouver. I cannot say enough good things about the experience I had. I was immediately welcomed, given suggestions about my size and a couple of things to try on. As I tried on the bras that the sales lady(who’s name I now forget, I feel so bad!) recommended, she was incredibly attentive but not pushy. She helped me like a pro, weeding out bras until we found the right one that best fit my size and shape — all while taking care of three other customers at the same time! It was an impressive, comfortable and relaxing experience. In the end, I walked out of there with two new bras that I absolutely love. I feel like a million bucks in them! And guess how much I paid? $ 65. These bras would have easily been $ 160 at some of the other places I’ve been to. It’s safe to say that I am a definite fan of Change. Try it and you might be too. :)

Today I had an experience that reaffirmed(not that I needed convincin’) my belief in Unilocal and good word of mouth in general! I’ll recount for you here and now so you too can run off to Change as well: Having just finished our intensive pre-xmas work out(gotta get in shape now– that egg nog ain’t fat free…) my friend, Solveig B, and I were discussing the over abundance of poorly made bras at pretty much every lingerie shop going! I mentioned to her the awesome experience I have had at Lily’s(my Halifax sista’s can attest!) but conveyed my dismay with the exorbitant pricing! At this point the lady changing next to us pipped in gushing about the wonders to be found(for reasonable prices) at Change in North Park Royal! She excitedly mentioned the: amazing fit, pj’s, and bathing suits too! We were so amazed that we decided to hit this place up right then and there. Walking into Change we were immediately greeted by Macy(I hope I spelled that right), the most delightful and truly gifted sales gal i’ve had the pleasure of meeting in quite some time. She quickly had us both measured(yeay, a bra fitting!) and asked us to pick out styles we liked so she could continue to pull items for us while we tried on. A bra fitting is a pretty personal adventure to take with someone and Macy was just right! Friendly and gal-pal-esque without being pushy or overly enthusiastic about everything in the hopes of making a sale. She casually adjusted, gave advice and picked complimentary styles despite the fact that the store was 10 minutes to close when we walked in and proceeded to keep her well past the end of her shift.(who likes that??) I am super pleased with my new lingerie! Prices in bra’s(mainly what we were on a quest for) range from $ 35-$ 70 as far as I could tell which is a vast improvement upon other lingerie shops where a properly fitted bra will run you upwards of $ 150. Oh and you know how you’re always temped to buy the matching undies to go with your bra’s but can’t stomach the expense? $ 10-$ 20 at Change! Many thanks change room lady! Hope i’ve payed this great recommendation foward! :)
