I had some time to spend in Horseshoe bay so I bought a coffee and read the paper and browsed on my phone for around an hour. The place was good for working, staff was friendly and cleaned up the place fairly regularly. Not too noisy, I was able to focus on reading the news paper just fine. Standard Starbucks vibe, business was steady but under control.

Really you just rolled your eyes at me ’cause I asked for a lid for my iced tea? I ignored you ’cause you probably had to deal with a lot of a-hole customers, however, when someone orders a cold drink to go isn’t obvious that they need a lid to begin with?

Glad to have the ferry refuge while awaiting the next sailing. Although given that folks are quickly transitioning to their next destination. The thing I like best about Starbucks is the level of customization available for each beverage. The actual coffee often has a burnt taste but with extra water sugar and cream it comes out delish — crazy?-maybe. But true.

Are all Starbucks the same? This is a small very busy location(especially shortly before a ferry sailing!). It has a few seats, no couches, but quite a large covered outside seating area. The store is quite clean, though the toilets can get a bit busy — much nicer than the ones on the ferry! If you need a good caffein top up before the ferry it’s a worthwhile stop.
