Toy Jungle

I am writing this email to express my disappointment and concern on the staff’s professionalism.
I was in the store looking for a toy for my 1 year old son. I found the perfect item I thought would be suitable for him as it would definitely grow with him. The price tag on the item was $ 11.99. As the item was rung up, the person on duty Abby saw that the tag must have been labelled incorrectly, prompting her to rip off the tag immediately. When the item rung up as $ 22.99, I asked if it was the price on the tag but she had already ripped it off. Because she ripped off the price, she went on to assume that I didn’t see her do it and said the price that was rung up was the price I would have to pay. She also said it was okay if I didn’t want the item. This made me furious as this is definitely not the type of customer service I expect from Toy Jungle.
I understand that there are times that price tags are placed on the wrong items. The fact that she ripped off the tag without consulting me and then acting as if the price tag wasn’t there to begin with was very rude and unprofessional. I also felt like I wasn’t a valued customer as she bluntly said that I didn’t need to buy the item if I didn’t want to. Since the staff isn’t willing to sell product at the store, I do not see the need to buy from the store.
I have always enjoyed going to the Toy Jungle but may have to reconsider after the incident that happened. I am writing this review so others will not have the same experience as me.

This is a delightful place as it has toys at all ages from babies to 10+. Also toys come in all price ranges so you can spend a little or you can splurge and buy that special lego set. It also has an amazing selection of playmobil, science kits, dolls, toy foodand plastic play animals.
I love that they have a great trainset along with two other play areas conveniently set up in the middle of each section of the store. It makes browsing for toys and gifts easier as the children are occupied. Have a mentioned their great selection of candies and webkinz too? They’ve got puzzles and playdoughs and activity books galore.
It’s conveniently located by a pet store. The staff are friendly and never get mad at you just for looking. They also have a rewards program. It’s true that some of the toys are cheaper at Walmart; at the same time, they don’t overprice their toys and have a selection of things which the big chains don’t carry.

This is a toy shop for kids 4 – 8. Just the usual over priced toys. If you’re buying a toy, goto walmart. It’s cheaper and more variety.
