The Cherry Pit

This place is right across the street from the Holiday Inn. It is a true diner with great food. My daughter ordered a fruit cup and pancake. We thought a small store bought cup would arrive, but it was a big bowl of fresh fruit! My husband had a Benny with lox and he said it was delicious. I had a chicken little breakfast with bacon. The bacon was thick and wonderful. The pantries were delicious. It was crowded but we got a seat. Great experience.

Probably the best place on the west side to get some quality breakfast.
Amazing service. Great food. Always hot and quick. If you wait longer than 10 minutes to get your food than that’s out of character for this place.

Great little place for down to earth breakfast food. Seemed like a popular spot for locals! Cute and cozy, a little old fashioned but it fits well with the feeling of the place. The service was very friendly (I was served with the wrong meal at first but the kitchen was super prompt to fix it and our waitress was apologetic, so I wasn’t bothered by it) Would recommend!

Great little place for breakfast. Fast and friendly. Thick bacon. Eggs cooked perfectly. And cheap!

It’s good ol’ diner food. Quick easy breakfast. Delicious omelettes. And I didn’t try it myself, but my buddy and his girlfriend went crazy about their clam chowder. Fair prices, and way more character than your White Spot or Denny’s. And VERY fast service, even when they’re packed.

Amazing!!! Checked this little place out after checking Unilocal reviews. Not disappointed! Even have gluten free bread! Had amazing West Coast Benny’s on toast. Partner had eggs and the hugest all pork sausages ever! Ignore the décor and old carpets, etc. friendly staff, prompt service and HOT food!!!

This diner food. Pure and simple. And it’s some of the best in the valley. One of my favorite breakfast places in the area. Service is fast, friendly and very personal. Very good coffee. The eggs Benny is not to be missed.

My hubby and I were staying at a hotel across the road, and ended up having breakfast at the Cherry Pit three mornings in a row. The food is excellent! Home cooked, not pre-​made, and definitely made with love! Their menu is well priced and the portions are huge, and the coffee is hot! The servers are all very sweet and friendly. I recommend this spot to anyone looking for a delicious brunch, huge portions, friendly service, and fair prices.
Next time we’re in West Kelowna we will be back at the Cherry Pit for sure!
