I was contracted through Nanny Network, as were most of my friends, for the 06 – 07 season. I believe it has been taken over by or merged with another babysitting service in Vancouver, but I’m sure the employee screen in the same. We were required to present a criminal background check and a CPR certificate. They work hard to get to know their nannies so as to match the best nanny to the family.
You’ll pay through the nose for Nanny Network, but you get what you pay for. Oh, and even though you’re paying a lot, if the nanny did a good job, go ahead and tip.
