Hungry? This the place for great food, great flavors! Of course. you have to drive to Whistler first. Pass up the fancy restaurants… make this your main squeeze.

Just what I needed after a long day biking in he cold. Pork burrito was enough for one very hungry person. I think normally I wouldn’t be able to finish it, but after the day I had, just right. Pork was good, sauces were amazing. Don’t miss the sauce section to add a bit of the pineapple salsa.

Pretty Damn good! Right sized individual tacos. The veggie choices were all delicious and my husband had the fish tacos and brisket burrito. He’s not easily impressed, but he loved the spice and the overall flavor! This is a good little spot, order at the counter than have a seat or wait for them to call you name for takeout. Nice little patio outside, only draw back.. .. .No dessert. But there are a lot of places for that within steps of leaving. I’ll be back!

I come to Whistler a lot, I’ve never tried this place till recently. I wish I had sooner. The brisket burrito with avocado was awesome. I would have ordered another one had it not been so big. The rest of my party ordered various tacos and they were all blown away. Everyone liked this place. The service was good and everything seemed to be reasonably priced. I’ll definitely stop here on my next trip.

Wow… excellent tacos! We ordered take-out(for a family of five) and ordered 3 of five different types of their tacos. We tried fish, brisket, vegetarian, chicken and pork belly. Each was awesome… and our kids loved them too! Great flavor, awesome street-style tacos! Great food! Strongly recommend!

Delicious tacos! Pulled pork one was my favourite, accompanied by Whiskey Jack Pale Ale. Fun and friendly atmosphere — good for lunch or apre ski.

Great service and atmosphere. But my tacos were mostly white rice with about 4 black beans on the top. My friend had a similar situation with her meal. Totally lacking any flavor or nutrition, blech. Too bad. We were sorry we went there.

We had burritos here, and quite enjoyed them. They were flavourful with fresh ingredients. The price for three was very reasonable. We will go back and try the tacos.

Very good fish tacos here! We stopped in after our day on the mountain got cut short because of rain The dining area is kinda small but the food is good and the service is very good. You place your order at the bar and then take a seat. The friendly ladies working there will bring your food to you from there. I got three fish tacos and a brew. The fish tacos were very good but a tad on the small side. The fish was fried as apprised to grilled but very good. My buddies got the chicken burrito which were huge and very tasty according to them. Give this spot a try!

This place hit the spot after a long day skiing in rain and snow. It’s cozy here. Workers are friendly. Pay at the register and then take a seat. Loved the pork belly pickled cabbage tacos and the brisket burrito. Their tacos put San Francisco/bay area food trucks to shame. The burrito was hearty, though I was surprised to find peas and carrots in them! 3 tacos + 1 burrito was a good amount for 2 of us– portions were good. Def try the salsa bar, too. This place is tucked away in the corner of north village, where a couple other good eats are(peaked pies). Worth the trek.

Burritos? Tacos? Whatever you chose, they’re all good. The quality of the food is excellent. I’ve not been disappointed yet and I’ve tried almost everything on the menu. Truth be known, I prefer coming here over the Mexican Corner, Pepe’s other Mexican restaurant in Whistler.

Note: Five stars for Whistler! Excellent tacos/burritos with very tasty veggie/vegan options. The portions are pretty generous, and like all good Mexican locations, they have an excellent selections of side condiments/salsas(of various heat levels). For a resort town such as Whistler, it’s easy for eateries to get a little slack on effort because there’s very little option to go elsewhere — places fill up quickly or the alternative is an hours drive away. Luckily Tacos La Cantina puts in that extra effort which will be especially welcoming to the non carnivorous guests.

Definitely a hidden gem tucked in the farther side of Whistler Village! Located right beside the IGA, it is not a place you’d pass by on a regular stroll in the neighbourhood. Nonetheless, the food here was delicious! I ordered the chicken burrito and the spices in this behemoth of a wrap was superb. Filled up with generous portions of pulled chicken, cubano rice, beans and lettuce, it was the perfect sized lunch after a morning hike. Major points for the nice rustic décor as well! Totally Instagram-worthy! There’s also a nice selection of Mexican and local beers so definitely would want to try them out!

Love the tacos here. We came here 2 times during our 3 day stay and we enjoyed it both times. We will come back here every time we’re in town and we only wish there was something like this closer to home. Just like the Mexican corner we saw the owner there(same owner) and he also looked very involved with his staff which again is nice to see from any man in charge. We will be back for sure. I personally loved the pork belly tacos but they may be a bit sweet for someone else. The cochinitas were excellent also followed by the brisket tacos. Overall every flavor was great but those were my personal favorites. Thank you for the great experience and the great food.

Having just spent the entire day hiking we both were looking for a filling meal. Loved the casual feel to this place and you order at the register and they bring it to you when it’s ready. Great presentation and we went with the recommendations they gave us which were the Pork and the Brisket burritos. Both very tasty! Overall the salsa they use on the burritos can be a bit overpowering to the point where that’s all I could taste. Probably opt to get the salsa on the side next time because they do have a nice kick to them. Fast, quality service and great location with plenty of parking.

found this place via Unilocal, and as usual it was a good recommendation. We had a chicken burrito, three types of tacos and a salad. The chicken burrito and chicken taco were fantastic. The machu picchu salad was also really nice, although a bit more dressing would have been nice. We were a bit disappointed that they didn’t have nachos as a starter, but that’s ok. You order at the bar and then they bring your food. The service was ok. It was nice to sit on the patio during the mild summer night in Whistler.

For an inexpensive casual dining restaurant this is my top choice for lunch and dinner. The food is really good and cheap(by Whistler standards). Three Cubanos tacos will fill me up for $ 9.00. The drinks are regular price. They have beer and diet coke(and other pop) in bottles The cashiers and runners are friendly too. Take out is available, which will cut the cost as you can drink something you have at home. The only downside I could see would be that seating is a bit limited, especially in winter.

We actually were gonna go somewhere else for breakfast but it was closed! So we were like OMG what a great opportunity to try this taco place that we’ve been eying! Pretty cool taco place. They serve different types of tiny tacos so we got one of each! Our favorites are the pork belly, pulled pork, the chorizo one. I think the chicken taco had the sweet taste but I’m not sure, so ask the person at the register which taco had the sweetness to it because that one is pretty good too.

Amazing tacos at a decent price($ 3/taco). Tacos are full of flavour and the filling just melts in your mouth with a crisp and tart crunch from a slaw on too(depending on which you get). We tried the brisket, beef tongue, tofu and rockfish. Can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu! Atmosphere is self-serve and pub-like with some tvs going. Excellent homemade salsa to add to your liking(3 kinds, varying heat levels).
