I love this place, always go there for a quick bite or just take away. Love their chicken shawarma and arabi style chicken which comes with a yummy garlic sauce. My husband always goes for their lamb shawarma which he loves. Delicious food especially for on the go, keep going back to this place.

Okay, large portions but the food wasn’t amazing. Didn’t sit right in my stomach, spent a few hours in the«office» after eating it. The place and stay was nice. I had the lamb plate as per another review. Wasn’t the best. It was just food. I will try the donair’s but I will not get the lamb.

Crispy Falafel 1570 johnston Rd, White Rock. Had the Chicken Shawarma donair. My pita bread was dry but the flavours were good solid Mediterranean notes but somewhat lacking… really couldn’t taste the garlic or hot sauce… Tahini? Absent… pickles definitely were forgotten… unique spices here… just needed more of it. Almost a cinnamon sweet to the sauce… could’ve been really tasty, just needed more. All in all… different & pleasantly unique flavours… just add more sauce, spice and pickles!!! Don’t forget the pickles… Awesome Lebanese pistachio baklava… Good prices… trendy location too… gr82 ppl watch. ‘appy noshin’

The lamb shwarma plate here is to die for. I’m not kidding. It’s huge and probably enough for 2 people(3 if you don’t eat much). It comes with hummus, 3 pieces of pita, meat, rice, and your choice of a salad. I’ve had their beef and chicken as well, but they honestly pale in comparison to the lamb. Chicken is pretty good, but beef is eh. Their donairs are delicious too, again, get the lamb. The tahini and hot sauce combination in it is simply amazing. Baklavas are great, but lean slightly towards the pricier side. Falafals are average. All in all, awesome little place to grab some lunch and maybe dinner.

Chicken Shwarma plate is heaven. One of the female cashiers is kind of dumb and rude though. She chose to take 3 people’s orders at the same time, took what I said for something completely different even though I had ordered it from their menu at least 5 times before and got mad at me for ordering the wrong thing. Great food though. Edit: Falafel is also great.

They have seemed to upped their donair game a tad bit. I suggest asking for extra meat($ 2) as their regular portions are rather small.

I really do like this place the food is tasty and plentiful for the price. I always get the Shawarma plate and find it a good portion size that fills me up. I wish they would do their own pita’s as the predone ones are abit dry and crack. Fresh pitas would put this to 5 stars!

I actually stopped at the king George &24th ave location. I have eaten donairs all over the world and this is the most authentic tasting Donair I have had in Canada. They taste different then the rest because they are made by a Lebanese family which gives it a home made feel to the place. Their desserts are great baklava and pistachio baklava. Also they have cherry Pepsi and their fries taste great cause they put a herb or spice on them. The prices are very reasonable with larger then downtown donair shop portions.

Yes! Yes they were crispy. Perfectly prepared, fresh, we watched the guy drop them into the hot oil. These were not from a dried mix. Nice tahini sauce and another hot sauce which was kinda sweet and tomatoey came with. We also ordered a chickens schnwarma. When we walked in you could see the chicken rotating on the spit, all nice and juicy. I could picture that with the crunchy end bits wrapped up with some crispy lettuce and tahini. What we were given was chicken that had been shaved off the spit recently and was sitting in a warmer. So it tasted good but was sort of steaming… so you didn’t really get that whole schwarma thing. It made the pita kind of runny and watery. Still good but. Next time I will be more proactive at the get go, and ask for freshly shaved meat off the spit :)

I am a fan. I have visited three times with my wife Arlene. The first time I didn’t know what a «Falafel» was. I ended up ordering a beef one. It was very good. The second time I had them add a little hot sauce at their recommendation. Even better. This is such a nice change of pace to the usual places we go.

The food is great and very well priced. Try the chicken wrap; it is delicious. I go there almost once per week. It sure beats burgers and fries. Their staff is very friendly and courteous. This is the first Lebanese restaurant in the South Surrey/White Rock area. Glad to have a new cuisine in town. Falafels are made to order and tasty.

Nothing too special. I had a very average Chicken Shawarma wrap — the chicken had moderately good flavor — there wasn’t a sauce that wowed me, and it was on the smaller portion side. I ordered a half dozen falafels too. They were like hockey pucks and I personally didn’t like them.

It’s about time that White Rock had a falafel spot! Good for a quick lunch. I’ve tried the falafel and also the lamb donair. Falafel was great, hot and crispy and cooked to order right in front of me! The donair is tasty, not awesome, but enjoyable. The staff are quite friendly and welcoming, and the place has a nice family-run business feel. Good for a quick lunch, and a nice addition to the White Rock food scene!

Came here today for a quick lunch. Looked like a little hole in the wall so I was hesitant but when I looked inside there was a line which is always a good sign. Got the falafel platter. It was good. The guy made them from scratch while you watch. So they were crispy and hot and fabulous. Also came with pita, humus and these delicious stuffed grape leaves. I loved how fresh everything was and the mom and pop feel. I will def be back!
