Been to two locations and from a service perspective, White Rock really goes the extra mile. Went there the other day with my Groupon for the cheeseburger, fries and drink. I think it cost me $ 7.?? with a discount. Anyways, ordered, took my number, sat down, actually read the newspaper somewhat for 8 minutes and out came a nice employee with my order. It was kinda’ nice to be non-rushed really. Burger was good… not spectacular, just good. IMHO, I think Vera’s burger tastes much better. The thing Fatburger has going for them is: clean retro look, great customer service, fresh burger taste, and ease of parking(at this location). What they don’t have going for them is: A nice, messy, homemade, finger dripping, slapyourmomma burger like Vera’s provides. I dunno, if I was paying regular price, I’d put my money on Vera’s. Customer service was excellent at this location tho!

Was here last week and it was great. We were in a hurry and the food came very fast. It was so fresh. I ordered mine lettuce wrapped and it was delicious. keep up the good work !

Very helpful staff. Answered every question we had about the way to do things at Fatburger! Haven’t had it in awhile but we were quickly reminded of how yummy it still was! Had the medium sized burger and was not disappointed. Plenty of food and they are even serving breakfast for those not interested in burgers in the AM.

We have eaten at this Fatburger location almost once a month for the past three years and have nothing but good to say about the food, the staff and the atmosphere. An old-style burger bar, it is bright and airy and always clean. Music from the juke box is free. The burgers are outstanding! Always fresh ingredients, nothing ever stale, as grease-free as any burger can be. And thank god the bacon isn’t crisp! It is always perfect: cooked to the just-before-crisp stage. We have never had anything else because the burgers are so filling. We always get one of the specialty burgers, along with a 12-oz. glass of excellent Whistler lager(that’s beer, folks — and a steal at only $ 1.99!). Yes, these burgers are pricier than the typical«fast food» burgers, but way, way better than any of them! Did I mention the staff? Great people and I always happily leave a fat tip!

Burgers are good. Better than average. Much better than McD’s or BK. Slightly expensive, though. Fries are just average. I’d recommend going 5 minutes away to 5 Guys.

First time to Fatburger? 200th review? Talk about anti-climactic. Given the anti-burger flavour of Vancouver and my quest for a delicious burger, I didn’t think that this place would pass at almost $ 17 for a small milkshake, onion rings and cheeseburger. Talk about pricey! The milk shake just wasn’t very good, and I forgot to say«no whip cream.» It tasted slightly crystallized. The onion rings were similar to White Spot, albeit undercooked. Unmemorable if not annoying to eat. Did not maintain any crispness at all, but at least weren’t too greasy. That was a bonus. And they did seem freshly cooked. They were even listed on the wall in a Vancouver Sun article as one of the top places to buy onion rings.(Who knew?) Still, I was not convinced. BUT The burger itself was actually not bad at all. I asked for the onions grilled. The bun was somewhat cold, but it was laden with toppings so I hardly noticed. The mustard gave it a sense of nostalgia, and I didn’t need to bother with the ketchup that they gave me. I don’t even know if the burger already had ketchup on it, but it tasted pretty good. What I do know that is that it was fresher than most«fast food» places and took approximately 6 – 8 minutes to make – just like they promised. The place was nicer than I expected on the inside(and I was not expecting much). It might even be worth dining in for an ultra-casual meal and the patrons inside didn’t seem to mind the atmosphere. It was packed on a Sunday eve, in fact. So if looking for a fast bite to go, I would order not onion rings, nor a mikshake, but I would order a good solid cheeseburger here again, even instead of ordering from my old standby, the White Spot located across the street.
