we came for the«famous packis» on packi day we were fortunate enough for them to let us in right before closing time but it was chaos i wish they would have just told us to leave because it was the worst experience at a bakery ever!!! we wanted several packis for a family size and they refused to sell us less than half a dozen? so i was forced to order more packis? we got 5 nutella ones and 1 rasberry one that tasted so gross and manufactured i should have figured but the worst of all was the owner/manager old lady who was yelling at her wait staff like they were dogs and i could see the stress in their eyes… its no way to run a business much less a bakery? never making this mistake again…

Ordered a birthday cake. Picked it up 2 hours after it was supposed to be ready. It was frozen. Who freezes a cake? I guess cakes for pickup on Monday are made Friday? Never had such a thing happen. Looked nice but total Duncan Hines cake. I could have done this myself and it would have been fresh. Sorry but the custard center was literally ice. Unacceptable and not a professional bakery.

Since 1918… and they are still back here tucked away in Windsor and kicking ass just around the corner from Via Italia. The breads«marble rye from heaven», the pies, the desserts, tarts and sandwiches are all excellent.
