Had really great appetizers and really good espresso(I would highly recommend mussels in spicy tomato sauce and salsiccia) and sat outside on the really cool patio between the buildings. To be able to drink wine, you have to choose patio between the buildings, not in the front. Our waitress was great and friendly. Her shift ended before we were done with our meal, so a young guy took over(I believe from the bar) — and what a difference it was! The whole great experience went out the door. Somebody even asked him why he was being such an ass, he didn’t respond or apologize. Since everything beside this guy was so enjoyable, I am going to give them another chance hoping they sacked this guy.

I went to Centro today as a part of Groupon special. Never been there before, but I had high hoped looking at the online décor. and menu. The place is quite nicely set up, modern look and feel and even has patio seating. The staff was very good and pleasant. Thats where the good things ended. I ordered Centro pizza and meatballs. The meatballs were hard and dry. Little to no taste or flavor for any food. The bread served on the side was cold as well. I mean, this sucked. How can one run a restaurant where the food has no taste. How hard can it be? I am surprised in this day and age people focus on décor, ambiance, service but forget the most important part-tasty food… The best part we had was a $ 6 dessert, for a slice of cake and that was it., I stone baked pizza at Armandos was a thousand times better…

Order the $ 6 risotto side and pat yourself on the back, you deserve this. It is big enough for a full meal and the taste is just amazing. Our plan is to grab this on a regular basis as a take out option. We have only been here once, but really enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Top quality all around. Will be back to try more things on the menu. I hear they make a really good pizza but we have yet to try it.

Review for dessert only. Mixed experience — a bit overpriced, slice of cake, chocolate éclair and two latte for almost $ 20. Cake was good but small and the éclair was OK. Décor seems a little dated. Free WiFi.
