Como’s Pizza

As far as «Windsor Style Pizza», Como’s is one of my favorites. It is a great pizza when it is fresh and hot. So what is Windsor Style Pizza? It’s a little thicker than a traditional Italian, yet no where as thick as Detroit Deep Dish. It is always a round pizza and they have this way of shredding the pepperoni which is placed on top of the cheese. Perhaps that would be the best way to describe it.

I have been here four or five times now for take out… being from Detroit, the couple that owns Como’s always treats me like a local.

Great pizza. High quality ingredients. Garlic crust (you may have to ask for it; not sure if it’s standard). Nice people own it and the service is excellent. One of the best pizza places in the city. We usually get the deluxe or simply cheese. Poutine also very good. Everything is fresh.

Delicious Pizza Great Deals Monday to Wednesday. Well worth it. Everone needs to try the garlic on the breading so dang good.

Very, very nice people and amazing pizza! Try the Italian sausage, it’s delicious! Won’t be ordering a wheel anywhere else for a while…

Not a fan of Windsor pizza (sorry Windsor locals– don’t freak out) BUT From the ones I’ve tried so far, this place is my fav so far.
the Indian pizza is BOMB. Get that.

Okay first thing first. My very first interaction with this place was a phone call to place an order, and just with that phone call alone Tue guy who answered was very friendly and helpful. When I actually got there in person, same thing. Thus couple owns the place and I think they do a pretty good job.
So on Tuesdays and Wednesdays they have a special that it you get whatever sized pizza you get it for the side that is lower (large for med, med for small), but this only counts if you pick up.
The pizza itself is classic Windsor pizza, not thick or thin crust but a good medium. You can get the crust brushed with garlic butter which is so good and adds to the crispy outside and chewy/​soft inside.
I got the Indian pizza and I thought it was great. I imagine they get the ingredients from the Indian grocery store next door. I only got medium temp and it was pretty hot and I usually like spicy food. The only thing I wasn’t a huge fan of was whatever Indian style spices that were mixed in the sauce that much.
Other than that, can’t wait to go Back!

Service was friendly, helpful, and personable. Restaurant was clean and well-​designed. Crust was crunchy on the outside and chewy and soft on the inside. Pizza was flavorful and fresh. I highly recommend!

Great pizza! Tonight service was fast, polite, quick! Groupon pulled me in! Salad, side meatballs! Huge mills for kids!

Excellent pizza. Gambled on the Indian Style pizza. Expectations were high (esp being located right next to an Indian grocery store) and it definitely delivered. Medium spice level was right on. Would definitely order again. Staff was very friendly and order was fresh out of the oven for pick up.

In my opinion Windsor has some of the best pizza in the world. Even with so many excellent pizza restaurants to choose from Como’s stands out. Truly one of the best pizzas you’ll ever have. Friendly and fast service as well. Highest recommendation.
