Faces Roadhouse On College

Not as sketchy as everyone says.
Faces seems to have a bad rep around these parts. My friend said his car was stolen from the parking lot here one night! I thought it was your typical pub grill and it’s pretty big. They’ve got pool tables, a giant bar, dance floor (i think), and I hear it gets pretty wild at night. (Leddy Library refuses to let me see for myself). The menu isn’t anything special and they have daily specials as well.
(Side Note… I asked our server what the Jerk in your Face wing flavor was… she then pointed out the comma between Jerk and In your Face… im an idiot)
Went with a group of buddies after class and ordered up 3 lbs of wings (only about 24 wings), Combination platter (wings, chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, poppers, and fries), and my buddy got the Bacon Cheddar Burger.
The wings are good. I was expecting less so it was surprisingly better than I thought. They are a bit pricey though and not worth only getting 10. The wings are kind of small but the spice was good for their buffalo. The chicken tenders are normal chicken tenders. A little better than frozen ones but nothing worth noting. The mozzarella sticks were actually real good as well as the poppers. Very cheesy and not overly greasy. The Bacon Cheddar Burger looked real good though. I never got to try it, but they gave him a nice portion of bacon, which should make any man happy.
Overall, Faces wasn’t a bad place. Server was cute and very friendly as well, but the food wasn’t anything special. The place might be better at night, but as far as pub grub, I’d probably only go for some daily specials… or elsewhere.
