Flings Chicken & Taters

Ever tired of greasy kfc, but still looking for that delicious fried chicken fix you’ve been craving? Enter Flings. I often judge dives by their slaw, and lemme tell ya flings has some decadent slaw and macaroni salad. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is authentic, minus some sticky benches. I devoured that chicken like a hungry man stranded on an island. The skin was perfectly crispy and lightly seasoned, not overpowering, just tasteful. The only downside, the portions. I would have much preferred more slaw and less taters, although the later was paired well with a succulent light gravy. Overall 3.5÷5 would have given a 4 if the portions were to my liking.

I am so tired of Windsorites and their fake make believe baloney. I tried this place and it was gas station quality chicken. People said I must have had them on a bad night and how awesome they are and the sauce so good. So I tried them again. BIG MISTAKE. I got sick. REAL sick within the hour and man oh man did it get worse.
The Chicken was tasteless, dry gas station chicken again. Not the worst but far from good. No taste. The sauce is just swiss chalet type sauce with mustard mixed in. So low class its not funny. But that’s Windsor. People here seem to like playing pretend. Restaurants are generally AWFUL and this place is no exception. Gross chicken, food poisoning and its twice the price of chicken joints in Toronto. The décor is horrid too. Last reno I guess about 1977. Formica chipping off all the tables. Street bum looking people coming in. Its a dive that serves dive food to people who are to ignorant to know better.

Loved their fried chicken and poutine! I eating even thinking about what to have for dinner, and my boyfriend wanted fried chicken. So this place was in walking distance and open.
The cashier was the sweetest girl ever and she was great chicken was fresh, hot and super crispy. Poutine was perfect.
Took a star off because I didn’t care for any of their sauces.

If I am correct, this is the only none-​chain fried chicken place
in Windsor. Their Fried chicken are well made. Yes, as another reviewer
said, they have not renovated the place and it is located in ever deteriorting
nebourhood. Between there and Ouellette, you see no less than 5 payday loan
shops. As for their prices, expect to pay slightly more than KFC

Best fried chicken in Windsor! Taste like home! Their potato wedges are heavenly and their macaroni salad is really good. Chicken is the best! Strongly recommend it

Expensive prices for tasteless gas station chicken.
KFC is cheaper and better tasting. Flings is in a terrible neighborhood, the interior is ugly and used up 10 years ago. Chicken is the same gas station. carnival chicken I soudl get at any roadside stand. KFC is gourmet compared to this and cheaper too.
