Advrage bar with some good wings. Staff are nice. Bars a little small and it can be cold down that close to the river.

Amazing nachos! Overall, good food and atmosphere if you just want to go to a basic pub. Its not too fancy but worth coming if you just want some drinks and food with friends on a weeknight. Today I had the ravioli and it was pretty decent comfort food. Tasty but a bit on the salty side; the Parmesan was low-quality but the veggies and tortellini were perfect. Definitely come for the nachos. Overall great prices for decent food.

Terrible experience at Loose Goose. The manager or whoever was the guy wearing the Bautista Christmas sweater tonight needs to realize that the paying customers who he kicked out of the bar pay for his bills and support his pathetic, miserable life. A group of friends and I popped into the bar tonight at 1.30am. We ordered 3 pitchers of beer and were having a great time. The waitress was friendly and the spirit of Christmas was among all of us. We were all enjoying the live music. After looking at our watches, we politely asked the waitress how long we had to finish our pitchers as 2am was quickly approaching. She told us 2.30. No problem. We had plenty of time. This manager/fuck face comes up and tells us we have 6 minutes. One of our friends asked where was his Christmas spirit. He said, BYVERBATIM: «Its Dec. 26th, Christmas is over and you need to get the fuck out». Listen, I’m sorry you’re so miserable with your life that you genuinely find joy telling paying customers off like this, but had you just cooperated with us and gave us a bit more time, we would have left a generous tip for both you and your staff. We had already discussed it among the group. But because you treated us the way you did, we were screamed out of the bar like animals. I understand working on a holiday sucks, but if you truly didn’t want to be there you didn’t fucking have to be open. Merry Christmas to you, sir. Enjoy festering alone in your misery. I’m sorry you’re working at a shitty bar in your late 30s and you have made nothing of yourself.

$ 60PLUS tip for two adults and a child for lunch? Horrible value for mediocre bar food. No kids menu but have tiny bottles of apple juice at $ 3.25 for kids? Makes zero sense. I won’t list them here but there is a laundry list of other restaurants in Windsor with better food and better value. I am still in shock. We went here for lunch before heading over to AGW for the afternoon. Won’t happen again. Huge disappointment. Only reason I am bothering with two stars is that the server we had was really nice.

I find it odd that I’ve never written a review for the Loose Goose before. I used to come here every so often whenever I was in Windsor to visit old friends. The place is a small dive-y kind of bar right on Ouelette, and close to the Riverfront. The place is small but they have a nice patio out front and the place can get decently packed. The menus here are actually not too shabby and they always have deals and food specials throughout the week. Wing specials can be had most days and they have happy hour apps from like 4pm-9pm on weekdays. The wings here were more solid in the past, but my last trip, I found it so damn saucy. Couldn’t finish as it tasted like I was just drinking the sauce. They have TV’s everywhere so it’s not hard to catch the game. Funny story too… My first visit to Loose Goose was terrible as the security guy at the front did not let me in because he thought my ID was fake and wouldn’t accept other forms of ID from me. What he didn’t know was that I had called in advance to have a little party at the place. When they didn’t let me in, I essentially told everyone we were leaving. The 30 somewhat people in the bar up and left and one by one just walked right out the front door in a single line that made me look as though I was Moses leading people out the desert…

Here in Windsor for business. Staying at Waterfront Hotel. Right around corner so very convenient. Despite the fact that downtown was a bit dead at 6pm, decided on Loose Goose for its close proximity to hotel. Was a bit skeptical as area was very quiet. Our experience was nothing but amazing. Jenna, our server asked what we wanted to drink, asked what was on tap and she quickly rhymed off the taps. Asked her about local microbrew IPA and she was very knowledgable on the brewery as well as others in town. She went on for rest of night to offer the best service I have had, not only in Toronto but, being a very well travelled person, the best I have had in a long time anywhere. Would be halfway through pint and still came by to ask how we were. I think a lot of places have forgotten about the importance of friendly attentive service. Helped that the music was amazing right from the start, so a little biased, but punk and modern rock helped seal the deal to stay. Food was decent and what you would expect from Pub. Just want to say koodos to Jenna for a fantastic night!

During a weekend stay in Windsor for a wedding, my party and I visited the Loose Goose twice, lunch on Saturday and Sunday. The bar was recommended by hotel staff due to proximity and did not disappoint. Offers typical bar fare, daily specials, and nice selection of beer on tap. The food was prepared in record time and the servers were so friendly. They gave excellent recommendations and were very attentive.

All you can eat chicken wings on monday are simultaneously the best and worst idea ever. The sauces are amazing, the wings are a little small and fatty but not bad. Beware, you will eat so many wings that you will have a meat hangover the next day. Try the whiskey barrel, run dmc, and buffalo wings.

Unilocal took us here after we did a little searching for an affordable and decent place for lunch. It was very close to the hotel we were staying at and a few steps from the river. The server was personable and recommended us a bunch of things that she liked on the menu. We all decided to get 4 lbs of wings to share among ourselves since they claim they have the best wings in town. We chose cajun, gar par, and two spicy ones(forgot the names). I can’t handle spice so I stuck to eating the cajun and gar par wings. The wings came out fresh and hot from the kitchen! The wings were a bit bigger than what I’m used to which was great. My favourite was definitely the cajun dry rub. I didn’t really like the gar par because I could barely taste it. They should change the gar bar to a sauce instead of a dry rub. We also got a small basket of fries that we barely touched. It didn’t look very appealing and my boyfriend said it didn’t taste that great. Overall, everything was ok. There aren’t many options in Windsor so The Loose Goose is probably the safest bet if you want wings.

I was in Windsor for the weekend for a friends wedding. We were all hungry but did not know where to go for lunch, so I popped out my handy dandy Unilocal app, as per norm. What would you know, Loose Goose popped up and was only a block away from where we were. We decided to check it out. We sat out at the patio because it was a nice day and was greeted by the waitress within a minute. We were in the mood for wings and beer, so we asked what they offered. I don’t recall what types they had, but we went with Kronenbourg Blanc after mutually agreeing to a light beer. Next up was as usual, the toughest part of any wings dinner for me; choosing my flavors of wings! Us 3 decided on splitting 4 different types of wings: Cajun, Garlic Parm(Dry Rub), Extra Hot, and Sweet Heat BBQ. The wings were not small like other wings joints I’ve been to. Each of the 4 flavors were not bad, but my favourite’s were the was the Extra Hot, and Sweet Heat BBQ. It was spicy, but not too spicy, and went well with our beers. If you’re in the area, and are craving wings or bar food, check out Loose Goose. I’d go back here again… if i was in Windsor again of course.

Good beer. Great wings. The staff is a little on the immature side. Wait time for service can be a little long.

Yep. Cool place. The bartender was super friendly. Plenty of beer choices and some new ones I hadn’t had yet. They were willing to take dollar for dollar and changed me a souvenir«Toony». Lol. Go Canada Ehhh…

After trying to eat at the New Elias Deli, my co-workers and I went to the Loose Goose. The food, the service and the menu were all excellent, as usual. I don’t know what are server’s name was, but she had a half sleeve tattoo. She was excellent! There are lots of options for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. I imagine that the kitchen could whip up something vegan, but I forgot to ask. Everything seems to be made fresh, including the delicious French fries. I had the Buffalo chicken wrap and it was soooo good! The fried chicken is made fresh to order. The food was scrumptious and came out very quickly. As I’ve previously mentioned, I’m not a huge fan of bar food, but it was so well done that I would definitely return.

Without a doubt best wings I’ve had in a long time. Also, a better beer selection than many of the other bars around there. All of this complimented by a really friendly, fun, and engaging staff.

A quality dive bar with a funny name. Perfect. The bartenders were friendly, drinks were cheap, and they had some quality live music on Friday night that had the bar singing along. They seem to draw the younger college crowd, so if that’s the atmosphere you’re looking for, the Loose Goose is a good time.

After driving around in Canada for a couple of hours taking in the sights I got a little thirsty and came accross this place. It’s been a long time since I’ve walked into a place with the personality this place has. The bartender was personable and helpful and took the time to chat. When I was ready to order he suggested I try the wings, «The best in town.» he proclaimed. After looking through their numberous sauces the bartender also made a few suggestions as to what to try. I ordered a pound of wings with the Buffalo Butter sauce. The wings came out quickly, hot, and perfectly cooked, no overload in the sauce department juuuust right! The wings were juicy and meaty, no uniform sizes here folks and you know what? He was right, the best in town!!! I was there in the late afternoon so there was not much of a crowd but the service was impeccable. The bartender not only tended the traditional area but took food and drink orders from the small dining area. All in all a pleasant afternoon with a couple of pints and a great lunch. I’ll definitively be back before I go home, it was suggested the next time I come by that I try the burger. And as my friends know, I love a good burger! If you ever find yourself in Canada, do yourself a favor and check out The Loose Goose!
