Applebee’s

Went there for early dinner last week with my fiancé, nothing tasted great. My steak was cooked well but had not much flavor, the shrimp wasn’t good and kinda cold. And my fiancé’s meal didn’t taste great either. Total waste of 50 $. We’re not picky eaters, so this was quite a shocker. I don’t think we’ve ever eaten out at a place we disliked as much as this. Never coming back.

Slow service. Worst burger I ever had. Go to McD’s for better everything. Maybe today they are under staffed due to Olympics Hockey Final.

What can u expect from a chain restaurant, it’s always hit or miss depending on who is serving and in the kitchen. The waitress was talking on the phone for first 15 min instead of serving us, my frozen drink was a cup of disgusting sugar water and they have sippy cups for kids but the straw was way too long we had to cut it ourselves. Mozzarella sticks should be called bites, way too expensive for what you get.
2 waiters were actually working, serving and hosting for entire restaurant while 3 others did nothing but sit at a table and complain how tired and cranky they were.
Painfully slow service. We got there at 3:17 got meals at 4:20
She eventually brought us more drinks but she did not take the empties away, we each had 5 glasses each by the end of the meal.
I got the ribblets and fries the were over salted and not editable. My husband’s burger was soggy and the lettuce was wilted.
Table next to us complained about the food and nothing was done for them. They were unamused with the smile and apology. Manager was nice to us too $ 10 off our meal

Applebee’s is a great family restaurant with a sports bar in it. The food is generally pretty tasty, but some things like ribs and fish taste really cheap and not worth what they cost. The staff are great and never let my drink go dry. I recommend their «real burgers» as they are fantastic. Good pasta and chicken dishes as well. The prices are reasonable but some things (like apps) are pretty pricey.
